  1. Just hang out with the guys and “listen” what a woman. You have quite the arsenal. I couldn’t imagine shooting the old flint locks with the flash pan, talk about smoke. I have a .308 and a .300 win mag for deer hunting. A lot of people say the .300 win mag is too much for white tail deer, but I like it if you hit it it’s going down and no long blood trails. I may eventually get a black powder rifle just so I can hunt that part of the season too.

  2. it's privately owned. so picnicking allows alcohol or it did when I was there. Very congenial owners.. They limit the number of people in the water so that's nice. With temperatures in the upper 90's here in Fla. it is a retreat .

  5. Do you need a high / low transfer case for hilly terrain? Only if you're towing / pulling something really heavy. I only use it when snow plowing, or pulling logs, etc. When you're one up, regular range is all you need. ( IMHO).

  6. Tartanpion was looking at a Black powder revolver....herewith is a pic of my Pietta. It has been shot a lot because it is a lot of fun . I use the powder flask with a calibrated spout for pistol loading. The cap holder is handy as the nipples on the Pietta are recessed of course. This reproduction is a Navy Revolver, the 'New Navy Revolver has a frame that covers the cylinder on the top. My under standing I'm not an expert. Just hang out with the guys at the range and listen...LOL There is a ball extractor shown ...I never use that. Air compressor will take a ball out... But Damn, be careful that ball will shoot out and dent Granma's freezer in the garage.

  7. I’ve shot deer off of my gas atv. It was noisy but when you settle down it’s like the deer forget about it, and come right on in. I used to hunt with a group that used golf carts, we hunted off of woods roads so they didn’t have a problem getting you to your stand. But that may be over now for me anyway.

  8. Yeah, I got the loctite 518 when you mentioned it before. I put it on both sides of the gasket. I’ve had good results with it. I think you could use it without a gasket if you had to. But I use a gasket plus the 518. Everyone should try it, it’s good stuff. Mine came in a tube couldn’t find it in a syringe. But it still applies easily and like you say it’ll be there when you’re ready to start back.

  9. Gooood Morning Devil's Den FLA....Take a dip in the crystal clear subterrain water and picnic at their great accommodations.. Located off US 27 (US 27 is a beautiful drive through Old Florida) and above the Ocala Forest there is Gret ATV areas around that area.

  10. Here is picture of switch assembly. I got lazy and bought the switch with CB and in line thermal OL. Notice the solder type ring terminals...very nice. I always struggle to find correct terminals for projects. The ring terminals should accept the #10 awg. Bought from Amazon...$41. I have quick disconects that I will use for bat.

  11. THHN wire is normally used in industrial wiring in conduit. If its wire you had handy, it would be ok to use, It is not as flexible. If you had to buy wire for your project RW90 is a better choice. Protecting it with that outer sleeve is a good idea since it will help avoid insulation rub through and an eventual short circuit. The spiral wrap is better choice then then split loom covering because it is thicker and provides better protection.
