  4. Most motorcycle starters draw over twenty amps for the first few seconds. It's the armature that pulls all the amps. The relay coil (starter solenoid) is only 5 amps or less .. maxbeg did very well

  6. May I say good morning now? It's 3pm here in the cowboy state but it's morning somewhere. How about "it's 5 O'clock somewhere" that can also apply 🥳

  7. Very smart. All internal combustion engines should be started gently and allowed to idle for at least five minutes. We're all in so much of a hurry and have no patience. Turbine powered aircraft have timers incorporated into the start procedure

  8. Speaking of which My old neighbor would start his Big John Deere Diesel and let it run for 15 minutes in the summer before he would move it.. During cold weather maybe 20 5 minutes. He said it was better to get it up to temperature. I star my VW sand rail and let him run for at east two minutes before moving. I try to do the same with most vehicles.

  9. I like nice boxes at the hitch area for termination on larger trailers with brakes. The seven pin connector with cord can be terminated in this box. Boxes will come with teriminals for the lights and brakes. Makes TSng easy. Electrical Cord Connectors with metal Chinese stress relief at the boxes for seven pin cord as well as trailer wiring. provides a great installation. I also bring out BAT(-) from that box and lug (1/4 X 20 bolt) to trailer frame at hitch area as well as other places on trailer frame. I like to tin BAT (-) wires and loop around GND bolts instead of terminals .... With that done you can kick back and think about the poor girls at the Office!

  15. You could also use Seafoam as an additive, it will also help keep the fuel system clean

  19. Ok here is the light trailer I picked up some months ago....What's wrong with this picture??!!! the hitch is on the wrong end! OMG! Even with the mechanical winch on the tongue it has negative tongue weight. I could not tow it without having more than 100 lbs at front of trailer as it would 'fish tail'. But it has brand new LED lights (Wiring is Neanderthal vintage) and new axle, rubber, and bearing " buddies". It also has a release so the bed will tilt down for drive on loading. I am going to somehow make the lights just flash so if i tow it on the paved road on way to back property. I want to carry mower to use to clear some trails.
