one more question if the stator was bad would it still run?

thanks bud i just ordered one that's all i could figure it would be.

i have a 2000 polaris scrambler i can jump it off and it will run but my battery won't charge on the bike if i charge the battery it will start just fine and the lights work for a wile. any ideas?
