I've noticed that a bit too, I've heard that the forums are really taking a hit because of facebook I don't do facebook so I wouldn't know. I try to get involved with some of the threads but there really doesn't seem to be an active topic page like some of the other forums, oh well I take what I can get I guess and throw in my two cents here and there. FF

Forgot to add what riding does for me. It let's me have the opportunity to share the extra machine with friends, hence the ones in the photo, and to just escape the daily grind of life and take advantage of the area I live.

Definitely the mountains for me, getting to the top of a ridge or coming over a rise and seeing a huge open expanse of valleys, nothing better.

uncleal, My two cents, It really does depend on what you are going to use it for. If you are going to be in wide open spaces and don't have to worry about switch back turns on mountain trails or tight corners anywhere for that matter anything larger than a 500 would probably be fine. I have a couple of Rancher 420's, they are not speed demons, I don't really use them for anything other than trail riding and we do ride double. So far they seem to have plenty of power for what I use them for. I do have a plow mounted on one of them and other than the plow tipping forward when I don't want it to, it seems to have plenty of power for that as well. As far a price goes, both of mine are 2013's they both had an estimated 2500 - 3000 miles on them and I gave around $3800 for each of them. One had new tires all the way around and one had new on front and I bought new for the rear then added a graphics kit to each of them along with a deep cleaning and repainting of wheels etc. so all in all about $4000 each. I bought one 2 years ago and the other one about a year ago so they are about 4 years old. before I got these two I had a couple of older machines that I purchased, cleaned up and resold one a 98 kawasaki prairie and a 2008 Yamaha Grizzly I had fuel tank and line issues with both of them but they were in top running condition when I got rid of them. So keep that in mind with a machine that is a little older that has that few of miles on them you never know how long they've been sitting. Just some food for thought, FF

Ajmboy, Thank you kindly! They are Graphics kits from a company out of Vegas called American Racing Graphics, the name of this particular design is "Fire Camo." The Plastics were pretty rough, scratched and stained in certain areas as they had been used on farms and cattle ranches so they definitely needed to be cleaned up. Did the first one liked it so much bought a 2nd machine and did the same thing to it as well. They seem to be holding up pretty well. I store them inside year round and clean them up good after each ride. I haven't used and power washers or carwash wands on them I don't want to really take any chances at screwing them up with High pressure but they have really dressed the machines up, and with painting the wheels, hubs, axles, break hubs etc, they cleaned up nicely. No they are not full time four wheel drive, there is a lever on the left side of the tank to switch from 2 to 4. Seem to be great little machines so far, only been riding for a couple of years so have a lot of exploring to do yet. Look forward to each year that our trails open up. I'll check out the new photo section, I tried posting some other photos but wasn't having any luck for some reason. may need some counsel.

Hello, lurking through the ATV sites and came across this one and thought I would join. Hoping to see some photos of different areas of the U.S. that others ride and maybe share some of where I'm blessed to be able to roll my ATV tires. Looking forward to perusing the threads, here's a pic of my two rides. 2013 Honda Ranchers, manual foot shift, no Power Steering or IRS, but still have a blast taking them out. FF
