  1. I looked up wolverines for 01 and 02 and they weren't four wheel drive.. Might pay to get the frame number. I think it will be on the lower left frame right near where a foot gear shift would normally be.
  2. This should help.. output.pdf Check they haven't sent you a switch like this one.. See it joins all the wires together.. The earlier models only joined them in pairs. After82.pdf
  3. No one looks cool in a helmet !
  4. I could look it up for you, if I knew what model exactly it was. https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/honda/atv/1991

  7. They can jump a tooth on the sprocket, especially common just as the engine comes to a rest after being shut off. Caused by worn sprockets or chain, or a defective tensioner.
  8. Check the cam timing.
  9. Oh well, at least you know there is one there for you now.
  10. And in fact.. when I check... One of the manuals right here is Quadcrazy has the 1985LTF250EF appendix.
  11. Have you looked at the manuals in here Snick ? You may be able to use one of the multi model manuals for most things. They cover engine/transmissions like yours, and several versions of brakes and suspension etc.. About the only things I wouldn't trust would be the wiring and the carb settings.

I like the smell of steaming mud myself.. But welcome along.
  13. Yes it will be complete guesswork. There should be a colour scheme with the new cdi though. You should use an ohm meter and check what all the different wires coming off the engine read as. The two yellow will be for battery charging I think and their resistance should be low, less than one ohm. The other wires, first check if any have a connection to earth, then test/measure all three between every two possible combinations. It's easiest to put all the measurements into a chart made up of wire colours across the top, and the same colours down the side, then put the ohms into the box where the two colours coincide. If some wires connect to earth then put earth into the charts labels. If you get those readings then we can make some educated guesses about what each winding is for, and some suggestions about how to test the windings to test them and to confirm the guesses. Then you need a wiring diagram for the new cdi, or we start making guesses about that and trying trial and error..
  14. Good work Antonio. There are plenty of manuals here for you then. This is a good site..
  15. Antonio says it's a copy of a Canam, though I'd suspect that would only be the engine and trans, the rest might be a copy but it won't actually be the same parts, not in the way the engine will be. if anyone can identify and confirm the extent they are the same it would be good/useful.
  16. No trouble Antonio.
  17. Good work Gw.. Again.
  18. I looked it up for someone elsewhere. I hadn't heard of the make either.
  19. They use different names in different markets. The best way to identify the bike is to use the vin number which will get you the exact year and then you can find the model with all it's prefix and suffix. If you use the babbit's spares site it has diagrams for it's index and you can quickly compare different models if you have any doubts and/or to discover what exact part it's meant to have. Carbs, regulators and cdi vary with the market even within a specific year and model.

  24. Ok. And are you going to tell the the answer to my other questions or am I meant to guess.. And if you had the vIn number off the bike you could find what model it is. They have a suffix to the model that tells us what service manual you need. That would help.
