  1. I feel you, my stable 2005 rappy 660 686 11.5:1 kit, head studs, flat trak aka smal azz cam, quicksilver carb, intake, air box (junk don't do it). Header, slip on. always breaking down pos. 2004 rappy, bone stock and faster than the 05. Never breaks down. I feel like this one will outlive me. 2000 400ex 440 kit, kibblewhite valves, 7 angle valve job, intake and head ported a little, big azz cam. header, slip on, pod filter in airbox and knn lid. Also faster than the 05 350 Rappy slowest sport quad i've ever ridden. bone stock, sounds like it already blew up and we're limping it home. 100% dont like it. 220 bayou, basket case, probably not worth fixing. We're going to anyway. 400 honda utility quad semi auto. feels like a cadillac compared to the rest of these. Zero problems. Why? It's a Honda. a couple polaris sprotsmans because they came with a truck I bought. Not a polaris fan so they're rotting in the garage until i'm about to die of boredom. Just don't love the centrifugal clutch. I'd say yes. addicted. lol
  2. We used a torch tip cleaner on the idle jet. A little at a time for months. FInally got it to run right. Now we can't stop. Ours is a bit older with cable brakes. worst idea EVER!
  3. I have the same bike. We ride in the summer in dry places mostly. Ran a pod filter with a sleeve. Still got coated in dirt and mud every ride. Bought the airbox and filter on that auction site. Now I only have to clean the filter annually. It runs a little fatter with the factory air box and makes a little more power. Still the slowest bike we have.

  5. DUDE, AWESOME! Got some pic's? We have a couple rappy's. 686 11.5:1 kit on mine. Wrong cam/carb/and intake. Kinda a turd above 4k but the first 3900.... Throttle wheelies in 3rd. I'm saving for some stock carbs, intake, and airbox. The edelbrock quicksilver is junk in this application.
  6. Topeka and is just a place where people dump trash. Gave up after it cost us a couple tires. Finger lakes is fine but nothing special. Most of the dirt has washed away to leave what feels like rocks and shale. Deepwater in MO is just as bad. We lost my 24yo daughter in a puddle. Literally waist deep in a hole that was maybe 3 foot around in the middle of a trail. Her boots reeked of death. Grossest/funniest fail to date. Make some friends with private land. I go north to Bethany. Or south to Leeton. I did check out the buffalo reserve in Arkansas. More suited to sxs but the 4 wheelers were good enough. The scenery was unmatched. There's also Appalachia bay Oklahoma which is only dirt bikes and atv's always a good time!
  7. I have the harbor freight plastic melting soldering iron looking thing. Ugly as all get out. I bought some used plastics off a website and cut them up trying to color match. The soldering iron likes to put nasty black flakes in the pretty yellow plastic. So I went and got the heat gun looking one. Tried with it too. I just cant get the plastic to flow like metal. I haven't been happy with either's looks. I get decent adhesion with the soldering iron style. So I just did my best. Ugly but functional.
  8. My wife and I were in Puerto Rico a couple months ago. They have an INSANE amount of different coffies that are grown locally. We brought almost 20lbs home. I was sure the feds were going to do a cavity search. We made it through scott free. If you're ever there. You gotta do the Bicardi rum tour. And a couple coffee farms. Awesome trip!
  9. KINDA COOL Does this link really work? Or am I stuck buying the manual? Has anyone popped a 250 jug on a 220? I just bought my first one today. I'm hoping the book has the crankcase bore. Does anyone know the OD od the sleeve where it goes into the case? What can I do with this little guy to get some power? Are there performance upgrades? Has anyone found a high compression piston?
