  1. No. Thinking about getting some Bead seal. The tire is fairly new ; really about 5 YO. It is very stiff and hard!
  2. The rim is clean . had some sand imbedded where he shoved sideways ptobably ?
  3. Ok Grandpa's Tractor 12 inch tire leaking at bead. could not use front forks as it was inaccessible as parked No down pressure on three point hitch so used off road jack. It was really hard to break . I got it free. OK now that you are done laughing at my pictures ....Maybe I can just wipe the rim clean and reseal?
  4. Here is the one I use. Just insert between spark plug and spark plug wire. My sand rail VW motor uses threaded terminal spark plugs that is why the one tester has a screw attached. simple test. Just insert and watch her light up.

  7. That one tire a guy friend had ran it flat on the rim...Clueless ...I used lube just along the edge ...maybe too much lubricant.
  8. I have ha small motorcycle tires that would seat in the rim then blow out before adequate pressure. At some point I assumed the tire was bad.

  11. I have heard of that now that you mentioned it. At the garage i think they just hit it with a large volume of air and a strap to pop the sidewalls. The automatic tire changing machines are exciting.

  19. This is not my 1992 ..don't have pic available on phone...Its a beast at 600 lbs and 7.5 gal fuel tank. Saddle height is high for my crotch. This one is 1992 but with a lower seat. He fell over on his kick stand and A guy had to help me get him back up. Very eembarrasing.😞
  20. Sorry Stupid question here... On My Kaw 1000 motorcycle my tech used mercury columns (He was old school but handsome guy) to set my four (4) Carbs. agh ..is that applicable here.
  21. Hmmmm...I have my Yamaha SR 500 --Thumper-sitting in storage as the CDI is bad. I replaced it once. bad again Did not know where toget one without Bigg $$$. Good inspirational thread..
  22. Yes my friends KZ 900 was hard on chains. I liked to ride with him. I had to hold onto him tight as he liked to twist that throttle at every light.
  23. My Kaw 1000 is Shaft drive. 94 K + miles and never had shaft drive issues. Changed oil regularly or checked never leaked. My friend had a restored KZ900...carbruated .... with 4 into one header...It was LYA on the ground fast! Chains were always a maintenance issue. But wow chains are efficient way to transfer KA Power! I had a Yamaha SR 500 'Thumper' ..20K miles and never changed the chain.
  24. Did you Ohm out the circuit for grounds?
