  1. :skeptic: ok guys im havin a problem here.... ive heard tht after u loosen up a stock axle nut it tends to come loose all the time after tht...... well i noticed tht my axle is movin an awful lot and we i ride i hear a rattling sound ..... i looked at it and got to feelin around and the brake disc moves around and the threads the axle nut is on move to....... is this because my axle nut is loose and needs tightened or wat?????
  2. i would say go with the honda 1 because it is gonna require lower maintence and they r actually rather easy to work on..... ive heard tht the yammi is just slightly faster but u gotta think wat good is tht lil bit of extra speed gonna do for you if ur having to shell out all the cash u got to fix the dang thing all the time.... and you could easily get the trx to the same speed ........ honda all the way imo

  3. if u DONT clean your carb its gonna make the quad sputter and backfire and all tht jazz ...... tht is if its real dirty but it may not be... wenever my 400 sat for a year and a half i never even cleaned the carb all i did was dump tht mystery oil in the tank, adjust the idle screw, then i just drove it around and let it clean itself out

  4. make sure too that you drain the gas tank and clean it out good. and tear apart your carb and clean everything in it to.

ya the carb might need a lil bit of adjusting also...... u might need to adjust your idle a lil bit because it may be a lil bit low after sitting for so long..

  5. i wouldn t by a battery made for a boat. the electrical systems on a boat and quad are different and a boat battery won t charge its self. and if your worried about it going dead while trying to start it just hook it up to a trickle chargeer it will be enough to keep the battery charged.

idk bout tht the altornator should still charge tht battery..... not tryin to be a smart a$$ but it would basically be like charging the battery with a normal battery charger:yes:......... and as far as hooking up the charger to it instead goes yes it will give the battery some juice but not near as much for starting as it would if you jumped it...unless it has the 50amp jumpstart option on the charger....and the boat battery WILL hold a charge longer than the quad battery tht is a fact...
