Fourtrax 300 starter??

Hey all I have a question on my 94 fourtrax 4x4. The electric start won't work. When I hit the button I hear the solenoid clicking but nothing happening. I put on a new solenoid and same thing happened. So I took off starter and checked it, brushes looked good nothing looked out of the ordinary. My battery is putting out 11.2 volts. I wouldn't think that would be it since I put a newer battery in from my other quad and still got same results. Any ideas I'm scratching my head on this one.

hey there. Try taking the starter back out of the bike. get a good battery and jumper cables and jump the starter by its self. Hook the ground from cables to the case of starter. then use the positive cable and touch it against the terminal for the power. it should spin for you. Just make sure you hold the start with your hand as it has some torque and will want to move on you. Try that and you will know if it is good or a bad cable.

battery voltage is low , but that shouldn't stop it from spinning over .....even at 6 volts it should turn. Try cleaning the commutator and make sure all the brushes are making proper contact with both the commutator and the wiring.. Hold that starter tight when you "bump " it .. They have lots of torque and can jump out of your hand if you don't have a good grip. Problem could be a bad ground for the battery or a corroded positive cable to it not allowing enough current to spin the motor over.

If you had to choose one mod that you couldn't live without, or had to recommend one what would it be?

Wiring shows White and Brown to solenoid blades. Then a black wire from starter circuit relay to solenoid. I am confused,  where is that black wire supposed to connect?
      Thanks for any help

      Hi all,
Looking for some help on a starter/bendix issue. Can Am outlander 450 2017. While cranking to start, the starter spins and engages into the ring gear. After a few seconds the bendix retracts while still spinning and there is no damaged teeth on the drive pulley.

Sorry I suck at these forums so if you see this submitted under update status, my bad. Anyhow this is a new shock for a 96 Yamaha Kodiak 400 4x4 it fits my 96 Yamaha Timberwolf 250 4x4 perfectly. Little narrower are the bottom than the original but everything else is perfect. I extended it to almost a half in from full extension because I’m pushing 350 pounds.  It rides and hold me well. So if any of y'allRace driven shock. have been looking for one and didn’t want to do the research here it is.

Hello I’m new here and was wondering is anyone knew of good replacement part numbers for front struts and rear shocks for this atv? I think I’ve found a new rear shock, that looks like the original but there is no dimensions or anything and was wondering if there are any afterMarket new front struts available. I know it’s a long shot but any help would be appreciated.
