1996 Yamaha Kodiak 4x4 Losing Oil

60 miles uses 2 quarts of oil,  does not smoke,  does not leak.  Where could it be going?

So if its not leaking and not burning oil, its kind of odd to be losing oil like that. With no leaks visible my immediate guess is that's it's burning it. Have you pulled the spark plug to see what it looks like?

I have to agree that it is odd. Either needs to be ingesting it or leaking it!

Did you ever find out where your oil is going?

check your rear axle tube - transfer case seal goes bad, dumps the oil from the lower unit into the boot of the swingarm and fills it.
