These are some amazing pictures, I've never been anywhere where you have landscape like that - a mix of sand and woods. Looks pretty awesome. I had to look twice to see if it was snow at first..(In the firts set of pics) Looks awesome.

What part of the country is that? Also I see a shitload of tracks, so I guess people ride there allot? How large is the riding area, miles? I also noticed it was by the water...what is that California?

Great pics!!!

That is Winchester Bay Oregon....Just 3 miles south of Reedsport....It was a Holiday weekend so there were More people there than usual....But you could still ride for an Hr or so without spotting another person....Not sure on the Acreage.....That was my first time there.....

Yes you can Sand Camp if you want.....But I took the opportunity to stay at a Nice little RV Park where I had Full hook ups....LOL.....Temps were in the High 60's low 70's all weekend until we left....Then we had Gail Force winds and rain.....Pulled Stakes around 4am that morning to beat the weather.....

You are so lucky to be close enough to go there

Freakin 9 Hrs away from me......Not Close at all.....

Im headed back up there in April for the Sand Wizards Racing annual Dune Clean up.....

yeah that first shot ,or series of shots is known as the camel toe! it is a very nice riding area! but honestly, if you cant ride a wheelie up that entire piece than you really suck.

Ive always known it as Banshee hill.....Some Friends of mine Blazed that Trail almost over 30 yrs ago....I also didnt see one quad that couldnt make it up except for my Buddies Edgar 400....But he is a NEWBIE....Im sure I could have made it up on that thing if I was the pilot:wink:

But let me ask you this.....Have you ever tried it on a 23 yr old Stock 350X:coolgleamAc: :svengoc: :woot: :laser: :smackbum: :moon: :slap:

      Hey all,
Just picked up two dead mid-90's Kawasaki Bayou 220s for $250. Already have one running on starting fluid and it sounds healthier than expected. Moving onto a thorough carb cleaning and refurb of the brakes next. These are our first ATVs and we're excited to make family memories on simple, approachable machines on our newly acquired land.
In case anyone reads this, is it worth rushing to 10 posts here to get the Bayou 220 FSM if I already have a Bayou 250 FSM?

      Thanks,
      Matt
