Just saw this topic, I used to have a 2004 KIng Quad. Was going to say that you definitely have an electrical issue if you can bypass and get the fuel pump to work. These quads have more electrical with the fuel injection and all than older quads. Fix those melted wires and try to find out what may have caused it. You may need to replace the regulator/rectifier.

* Topic title adjusted to include ATV issue

hey @AjmboyI seen a post where you were wondering on recalls for 2005 king quads. mine is an 05 made mistake in my post said 04. Did you find out on recalls. Btw I am going to clean up wires and trace them see if there is a bad spot. Thanks for input

I don't remember but saw something somewhere and would search online and on a quick google search I found https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls/2005/cpsc-american-suzuki-motor-corp-announce-recall-of-2005-king-quad-all-terrain-vehicles

I changed your topic title to include the correct 2005 year 😉

EDIT, here is @Ajmboy's topic

I can later today. I know it was red wires with green tracer. It was located on the pull cord side behind side cover in the mass of wires that are taped together. I believe one went to fuel pump one to the dash or up front forsure. One to cpu and forget where other went. Maybe to fuses. Hope this helps and if you can’t find them let me know and I can send some pics to you when I get near machine later today

Hi, I am having issues with my TRX350D fuel pump.  It suddenly stopped running so I have replaced all the fuses and cleaned all the terminals.  I have fitted a new pump, fuel cut-off relay and rectifier.  Still nothing!!  The pump runs when attached to a battery.  The engine will start on the choke and the filter fills with fuel but it will  not rev and dies when the choke is closed. I have power to the relay but nothing at the pump black/white wire when cranking the engine.  Any ideas where to go from here would be very much appreciated!!

      Hi Guys!

New member and could really use your advice. I would have to believe this has been an issue for others but a search here came up with nothing......? (Probably me not doing search correctly)

      I have an 87 Big Bear 350 YFM350FWT
The OEM Mikuni BTM carb is shot and would rather replace than rebuild.
It is no longer made and I have had good luck with NICHE carbs so I ordered a #K-CRB-0006 This was what they said was replacement when ordered. This Carb only uses 1 Throttle cable. The Slide is linked so it uses one. (OEM had 2nd cable coming through top to move slide)

Problem is when I ordered a replacement Cable from NICHE (#C-CBL-0061) the Cable wire is a little short, not allowing Throttle to return all the way down to Idle position. I called NICHE and they are at a loss. Haven't gotten back to me after 2+ weeks.

What would you recommend other than a carb rebuild?
Can I just use 1 of the OEM cables (It is the right length) and snip/disconnect the other that went to top of Carb for Slide?
      Or ??

Thanks in advance for any advice you have!!

I have been exploring all the options available, so many, its hard to choose. I have kind of narrowed it down to the Honda Pilot, Subaru Outback, and Kind of looking at the Outlander, although its a little small,  the new one is nice looking. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations or gripes with any of these rides. I have driven Jeeps for the past 25  years and they have been great, but their price point has gotten to high. Expieriences good or bad would be helpful. Thanks!

Bucking started about a month ago and works ok after 1/2 hour warmup.  Today while working on it i discovered that if i put the ignition switch in LIGHT position it runs fine right from the start.
I'm stumped!  Any idea why this could be?

      Hey all!
I'm on a mission to buy my first UTV soundbar as a gift for my dad(a newbie on ATV). I'm aiming for something that offers great sound quality without breaking the bank – my budget is around $250. Right now, I'm considering options like ecoxgear, kemimoto, and boss.
Does anyone have experience with these brands or specific models that you'd recommend? Any advice or suggestions would be super appreciated!
