Hey does anyone here know where I can find another brand oil filter for the stock argo filter? Being so new its hard to find anything. Thanks

Do you have the OEM number on the filter that is on it now? is it by chance 12 050 01 or 49065-2071? I took a quick look where I would normally look, but its not an easy lookup.

Can you see the oil filter on your atv and see if there are any numbers on it? Unfortunately that number doesn't cross to anything or come up online. That may be their part number but they may be using an already manufactured filter or engine from another manufacturer. The trick will be to cross it.

Argo told me its 11167G

Hey, I think I have an answer to this old question. Bought a 2024 Argo Xplorer XRT 600 LE and just passed my 'break-in' hours, so had to do an oil change. I was also searching for a cross-match to Argo part 11167G, which fits my quad as well as past 570 models (according to the dealer). Could not find any resource that would cross-reference to this number. Took the filter to a local shop and they matched up a filter by specifications (thread type/pitch, cannister size, mount surface offset depth, etc) and came up with a substitute. If you need the Argo 11167G, the WIX 51356 should do the job. I just put one on my bike and it fits perfectly. The can design is slightly different, and a tiny bit shorter than the OEM, but should have no effect on performance.

Filters sometimes have valves in them...  Some have anti-drain valves and some have bypass valves in case they get blocked. Just those specs mentioned before the "etc", ain't always going to be enough..  be cautious people.

I just bought a 1984 Suzuki LT185 ATV and am looking for the OWNER’S manual. ( not a service manual)
I contacted Suzuki Canada but they have no paper or digital copies in their archives.
Does anyone possibly have a digital copy they’d be willing to share?

I am trying to diagnose a no spark issue with my 02 Big Bear 400 and I am really hoping it is not a CDI.  I have done the test on the stator and I believe that is faulty.  I ordered a new aftermarket one from a the jungle website and it tested bad right out of the box so I am waiting for a different one to arrive from an ATV parts supplier.  I started looking out of curiosity at CDI units and it seems if it is for a big bear you are SOL.  Kodiaks, no problem.  Big Bear. No such luck.

Hey all, BruinBeater here.  Just joined up from the Pittsburgh, PA area.
Got a Polaris Sportsman 1000 and a 570 in the garage that don't get ridden quite enough but looking forward to a family trip this fall.
I'm the unofficial mechanic of the extended family.  In the past month or so I've replaced a transmission in a Chevy Silverado, rust repair on a Chevy Malibu, electrical repair on a Subaru Crosstrek, overheating issue solved on a Can Am Commander, and right now I have a pair of Grizzly and a Bruin 350 in the garage.  Both have a no start condition and have been sitting for 2+ years.
