Can anyone point me to a good set of instructions for changing front diff oil on a 1987 Suzuki LT4WD? I can almost guess which bolts are drain & fill... but I've been wrong before... 😆

I found some partial posts on other forums and they linked out to dead images and whatnot. Any help appreciated.

This thing is running pretty good, got the front brakes back to life, electric start works fine, seat cover fixed up, plastics stitched back together...

Nice work ! Love bringing an old bike back to life.   Changing the diff fluid is not that difficult. The only thing you have to do ahead of time is oil the fill plug and drain plug with penetration spray oil a day ahead of time. It will strip otherwise. If there is no drain plug buy a small hand pump to remove the old oil. Pump it out and put in new ! Bam done.

yep on my bayou, there were two big hex head looking plugs.  one was about half way up on the differential and the other was on the bottom.  You want to fill diff fluid up to the fill plug till it starts dribbling out

Drain bolt on the bottom, fill hole on the side. Fill it to the bottom of the fill hole. You can do it with piece of clear tubing on a funnel, but 80/90w runs SLOWLY, so you'll have a lot in the tube by the time it's actually full. Over-filling isn't a huge issue, but it may leak out of the axle holes past the seals. Just make sure the vent isn't clogged. :)

Some of these fill plug holes are hard to get to and fill, so I like filling through the vent tube with the fill plug out and watch for a trickle of fluid out the fill plug when full.

Hi all.  New to the forum & quads.  Seems like a great place full of info.
I just recently picked up a 2005 Suzuki KingQuad LTA700.  I need a battery.  I've been reading up on conventional vs AGM types.  I have a Royal Distributing and Canadian Tire.  RD has 2 types avail for my year/Model a battery YTX16-BS CRANK $75, and BATTERY YTX20CH-BS YUASA $140.  Neither of these is the type from the manual FTZ16-BS.
from what I can tell... I think the only difference is the capacity with the $75 unit rated at 14 AH/10HR and the $140 unit rated at 18 AH/10HR ... which is the rating in the manual for the FTZ16-BS.  How much does this make a difference for nearly x2 the cost?
And about the models/type numbers.... what is important to know ... they all end in "-BS" but are the other details relevant or just manufacturer naming?

I just bought a 1984 Suzuki LT185 ATV and am looking for the OWNER’S manual. ( not a service manual)
I contacted Suzuki Canada but they have no paper or digital copies in their archives.
Does anyone possibly have a digital copy they’d be willing to share?

Just picked up an 84 LT185 ATV, I understand there was an accessory add  on that gave it electric start, anyone have any info about that kit?

I was looking to buy a new ATV.
I was debating between Polaris sportsman 450 and Honda rancher.
      Polaris it a bit cheaper.
But can you tell me which one will have more demand on the used market? Which one will keep it's value better?

Let's say 3-5 years from now.
