wayyyy to loose.  It should have about a inch or so wiggle room- you're looking at like 3 or 4 inches lol  There should either be a tensioner or the rear axle adjusts- lift the rear end and there are some bolts to loosen and then the axle swings forward and backward- you want to pull it fairly tight as the chain loosens up with heat.  Also make sure the chain is well oiled so none of the links are bound up- that will make it jump sprocket too even if its tight.

that chain is so loose, it might have one too many links on it- I would try tightening it first tho

I had the same problem with a Chinese 110.  Seemed to be a wight issue.  When I rode the chain jumped off.   When the kids road (<100#) it was just fine.   Never could get it to stay on under load.

I'm in the middle of repairing damage from the chain coming off of this from the previous owner. (I learned this is somewhat common on these for various reasons.)
What are you guys using to either help keep the chain correct and on the sprocket or guarding your engine in the case that it comes off / breaks?
Is there an upgraded guard that can bolt around the sprocket in replacement of the currently broken OEM alluminum?

If you had to choose one mod that you couldn't live without, or had to recommend one what would it be?

      Hello All
I'm kinda new to ATVs. I just bought a 1987 Suzuki quad runner 230 Dual Range. I'm having a problem finding info on it. It's very clean, only 2.800 miles. The front wheels are only 30 in.center to center. I was thinking about adding wheel spacers to give it more stability. I realize the added stress on ball joints and bearings. I'm wondering if there are any other concerns? Any input is greatly appreciated!

Hi. I just bought an lt230 1993.  Ive started buying parts for a full rebuild.  But somehow beskepedal has been removed and pegs welded to where They are supposed to be screwed.    I was wondering if anyone have one and Could measure how far out the pegs are.  Like the peg the brake is put on and then peg outside of it.  And the one lower down.  So i can recreate them.
