1989 Warrior 350 Carburetor

You don't have to take the tank off.  Sometimes it makes life easier but it should be able to come off without taking the tank off.  I like to loosen both clamps first.   Disconnect the gas lone, pull the carb out so you can take the throttle cable and the choke cable off.  Re assemble in the same way.

Honestly heres my take.  If its at the point where you feel its bad and a possibility that the  tank my have skunk gas as well then pull the tank and clean the carburetor and tank properly.   I've very rarely had luck by rotating and cleaning the carburetor in place.  You only wind up pulling it all out again.

      Hello everyone !
I'm currently rebuilding my carburetor on my Yamaha moto 4 350 1987, first time I rebuild a carb 😅 ! It was leaking fuel from the overflow and inside the intake ....
When I took off needle (the platic top part was stuck like crazy) I had a spring and inside the kit there is a spring, an O-Ring and a washer.
Left is the needle that was in the carburetor and right is the new set (I already tried to mount it but it didn't felt right and I accidentally broke the o-ring)
Anyway, I saw in some videos and diagram that there is no spring in here. So should I put the spring back ? And where ? On top of the needle or bottom ?

This is an original Mikuni carb :

Thank you ! Also if you have any additionnal tips please feel free to share I want to learn the proper way !

I have a gentleman that asked me to service his bayou for him.  I have always wondered what oil should be used in atv engines?  Pros?  Cons?  What weight should be used in what type of weather?  Is there one kind that I could bulk buy and safely used in any quad I worked on or owned?  What about performance?  Engine Life?  This has always been a 🤔🤔🤔 area for me with quads as far as why you would use one type of oil over another....
      Thanks!

My 2005 Kawasaki banshee runs great, perfect at sea level and starts right up has a great idle perfect performance till I get up to 4000 feet and struggles to start won’t run hardly at all till warm. Anything I can do to the carburetor in a quick type adjustment?

I am not sure what is wrong with my King Quad. I had a new carburetor put in 6 months ago, just replaced the fuel pump and added an in-line fuel filter in. I have been trying to fix this quad for a while now and do not know what is wrong with it. It idles fine and runs great as soon as it is fired up, you can Rev it and stay in first gear with 100% power. As soon as I drive 10 feet it looses all power, I mean it is sputtering and doesn't move at all, but when I let off the gas after it sputters it idles fine. I will attach a video of what it is doing.
