Just joined about a week ago since i recently bought a 2001 Yamaha Big Bear 400 4x4
We have also had a 2000 Honda Recon for about 10 years
Live in southeast Geriga and use them mostly on the property as work horses and the kids and grandkids to ride
I am sure i will have lots of questions of maintenance and upgrades,,,
looks like a great place for it!

Well, decided it was time to upgrade my ride, been running a 02 AC 500 for a few years, decided I wanted an EFI machine that I can run tracks on. Decided on the Highlifter for better clearance and lower gearing. I trail ride and ice fish primarily. Can't wait to get this sucker, hopefully take delivery before the year is out. Probably ordering Camso X4S tracks this week. Can't wait.

Greetings and salutations. I’m new to the forum and I wish I had found it earlier. Proud owner of a really old Honda TRX350D that was gifted to me, and it certainly is the gift that keeps on giving. It is a tank and will keep up with more modern and larger machines but I can’t get it to run right so I’m about to sell it.
I am purchasing a 2001 Kodiak 400 in the next few days. Pretty solid and runs strong but needs the new (included in the deal) front diff, or at least that’s what the guy is telling me. Seems like a simple enough job but I’ll diagnose it once I can tear into it some. I’m excited about it because they seem like great machines and I need something more dependable for deer season.
Anyhoo, that’s my story. Any advice that the forum can provide as I go along on my journey would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, everyone!

New to QuadCrazy and to the Forum. I own a 1985 Suzuki LT230GE. It was in rough shape when I bought it 3 years ago, but running. I have ridden it over each summer, but this summer I decided to do some work on it. I am hoping there might be a few guys on the forum with some experience with this make / model, or even more general ATV knowledge, who might share their expertise with me as I putter away at making it a better, more reliable machine.
I am a Canadian, retired military Veteran (Kandahar AF, Sinai Pen) in the Eastern time zone, with 3 acres of bush that I am working on, and riding on.
All that by way of introduction...
