2005 Scrambler 500 4x4 hard steering?

Is it normal for the steering to be hard to turn on these.  Or, is there something I should be checking on the front end components. also, do these come stock with grease fittings? Thanks!

I have noticed harder steering on all my 4x4s, but they are all 20 years old, I have even taken the front off of one and regressed everything that I could grease and if it helped it was only minor, I think its just the nature of the beast, that's why the newer ones have a power steering option, my honda 2x4 is not nearly as hard to steer.

I think the problem was just me not being use to riding this, starting to feel better now.🙂

The other thing I had to get used too was planning my turn around 25 yds in advance, that's the being on motorcycles most of my life, state of mind.
