I had an issue like that once with my Yamaha and it ended up to be the carb..actually corroded float lever. The float was getting stuck, hence not getting gas... You may want to take the top of the carb apart and check that float.

That was my first thinking, clean your carb. It has been sitting for a while and a bunch of gunk has settled to the bottom of the tank. Since you left the gas open it worked it's way to the carb,(in theory)

take your gas tank and drain it and put some BB's in it and shake it for several min's to take the rust out of the tank, make sure the fuel cock is clean and the gas comes out freeley, then take your carb apart and clean both the main and pilet jets and also the needle and seat. and make sure the float dose not have a hole in it causing it to take in gas and not float. this should get u back on the road

I know you changed the plug, but did you check for spark? That is where you want to start because it is the easiest to check. But most likely it is that you are not getting fuel. Drain the tank first, then work your way from the tank to the carb, checking for clogged fuel passages. Then you will want to disassemble the carb and clean it out, make sure the float moves freely and that the jets and vent tubes are not clogged.

Hi guys, I have a 2004 big bear 400. Last winter while plowing the driveway, I heard a loud pop from the left side of the engine. It continued to run as I looked for leaky fluid, but then died shortly after backing it up and won’t start now. The oil light comes on when I try to start it, no noise or anything else.
No blown fuses that I can find.

      Hi all,
Looking for some help on a starter/bendix issue. Can Am outlander 450 2017. While cranking to start, the starter spins and engages into the ring gear. After a few seconds the bendix retracts while still spinning and there is no damaged teeth on the drive pulley.
