1997 Polaris Magnum 425 Oil leak from water pump weep hole

I chased down the leak on my 97 Magnum 425. I have a nice leak coming from the water pump weep hole. I am being told the oil seal inside the pump needs to be replaced. Can anyone tell me what is involved in the repair. Can it be done without pulling the motor? Thank you!f5b066d397eba1f9bcb4ed3d91d4d7da.jpg

Thank you very much! The only Magnum specific video I could find the guy drilled through the frame to access front bolts with a socket and extension. Don't really wanna do that!

The weep hole is for water to come out when the pump is failing, if you have oil coming out of that hole I would just replace the water pump, but that's just me , I don't mess around with water leaks or battery problems I just replace the affected parts before they put me down.
Just got my rebuilt kit delivered

Good luck! Let us know how it works out.
Thanks! Kinda dreading the job (getting housing cover bolts off and back on because it's so tight with the frame so close and partially blocking. May have to fabricate an extended wrench with a bend in it to get that front bottom bolt. We will see!

I see quite a few ads for that  Tribotex additive. It's kind of expensive, has anyone used it it their ATV or any other vehicle?

Hi guys. I have a problem where the quad will start and run well for about 5 minutes and then it dies. On inspection the airbox has oil in it (quite a lot). The oil is pumping through the cylinder head breather hose. This problem first happened suddenly. I have since done the top end including, piston, gaskets, rings and valves. I have also done the carb (not that I thought that this was the problem). The compression seems normal. The only thing that I can think of, is that I did not grind the valves well enough. Anyone experienced this? If so, how did you fix it? Any other thoughts?

Hi, I am having issues with my TRX350D fuel pump.  It suddenly stopped running so I have replaced all the fuses and cleaned all the terminals.  I have fitted a new pump, fuel cut-off relay and rectifier.  Still nothing!!  The pump runs when attached to a battery.  The engine will start on the choke and the filter fills with fuel but it will  not rev and dies when the choke is closed. I have power to the relay but nothing at the pump black/white wire when cranking the engine.  Any ideas where to go from here would be very much appreciated!!
