Twin peaks 700 stock jets.

Does any know what the stock jets are in the twin peaks?

I bought the bike with a pipe on it and want to go back to stock setup.

What's a Twin Peaks.. make and model and year would help. The country/market you are in might make a difference too..

Suzuki Twin Peaks 700, V Twin Water cooled, has 2 Keihin 32mm carbs cant remember the stock jet sizes. It was the same as the Kawasaki Praire 700 only the Suzuki version was yellow. Does it still have the original Keihin Carbs.

Jet sizes depending on the carb# is main jet #138 or #143, pilot jet is #40. This is based off of a 2004 model wasnt sure which model yours was.

The parts places sell them from 125 to 148 in steps of two or three. That's a huge range.

Thats great . I really liked those machines, sooo powerful. What year is yours.

Bigbell, I doubt that changing an exhaust would need more than one jet size difference. It's possible they didn't even change jets. I'd forget trying to figure what size your bike had originally and just tune is as you find it now.

Agreed! It was interesting so many different sizes are available. More than likely it was never rejetted when the pipe was added, i wouldnt pull the carbs just to check that unless you are having problems, although it would be interesting to see whats in it.

You can test the main jet by test riding..  It need a good bit of track where you can hold it at top speed in one of the high gears for a couple of seconds though.
