Yamaha Warrior Rev Limiter

I have been told by some that the Warriors don't have a Rev Limiter and others have told me they do have a Rev Limiter.

So who is correct?

Does the Yamaha Warrior have a Rev Limiter?

Nope... no limiter ive got an 02 and have had it rapped pretty tight... im pretty sure they put them on the newer raptor 350's though...

Really!? I can't imagine a MFG not putting one on.

ive had mine for over 5 years and have ridden it hard and ive never hit it. if they have one it must be way past the throttle stop...

i wouldnt worry about it... like i said ive ridden mine probably harder than i should have a few times with no prolblems... they are tough motors...

I believe the warrior has a rev limiter switch. Not sure which one it is, but take a look at the attached diagram.

ya it does have a limiter when the parking brake is engauged but thats it.

23 is the parking brake switch and 28 is the clutch safety switch (neutral safety)

Yeah, I read that Yamaha did that to remind you that your parking break is on....
