Don't know much about that machine specifically, but I do know that the better you take care of it, the better it will be to you. Hopefully the person you bought it from knew that too. I also highly advise that you have fun with it.

it is a loverly bike with a good history.

most people love the inderpendnt rear suspention, even if it looks a bit strange! it works well.

often they get a problem with the fuel tap being broken that lets fuel pass through the vacume line and it floods the motor, but is easy to fix.

often the carbi can get worn on the older bikes with high mileage (worn in the needel and needle jet) and it makes the bike run rich. once again easy to fix.

and then there is the issue with the carbi getting contaminated with rust dust and dirt which makes its way in to the carbi (but it happens to every bike)

some times the slave cyliners in the front brakes get old and rusty and make the brakes get stuck on a little bit, but it is only a every 5 years or so thing to have happen.

but it is a good all round bike that suzuki shops (like where I work) sadly miss! and wish it would come back in production, we still have farmers asking for them, even tho is it 6 years after production stopped!

Hi everyone and thanks for reading.
My husband and me are getting ready to host the 2nd Quad Runners event at our nudist campground. The first one (last year) went pretty well with about 20 quads attending and have to say, it was a smaller group, but they made up for their size with the large interest in partying and there was plenty of nudity as the Saturday night went on.
We have decided to host another one this summer, but we are looking for some fun (but safe) riding events. Our grounds are almost all flat and remember we are a nudist campground so many of us are bare as* naked so "slow ride" events would be the best.
Give us your thoughts and ideas and feel free to ask us anything you would like, and we will answer right here in the thread.
Thanks for your help and ride safe.
BTW, let us know what "anything goes" means for this thread section.

      Hi all,

I am wondering if any of you have a Clutch Starter gear from a 1988 era quadrunner 250 sitting around that you could get me a precise measurement of the outer diameter of the race the sprag engages onto, for me? I need to machine a damaged race down and install a hardened sleeve and need that measurement (it's on a different gear than the OEM one, so I can't buy and use a OEM gear).

Hi guys, I was given a 2000 Honda Recon fourtrax 250 (I think that's the full name lol). The previous owner had it sitting for a while before I got it. It sat for another few years in my ownership. I got it up and going on its first test drive today!! I was wondering where everyone buys their parts from?  Coming from the car community, we have sites like RockAuto and many more. Anything like that for quads? Also would like to be pointed in a direction, if possible, for plastics. I am missing a few and would like to have it complete. I appreciate any input!
