1986 Suzuki 230 atv plastic

I have a Suzuki 230 bored over .30 with a racing cam and am looking for the plastic for a utility instead of the sport.

I also have a 150cc two seater go cart with 16 inch clearance and set up for the swamps, 22x12x8 in the back and 19x9x8. It has many extras and is funner for adults but great for kids, top speed 40.

Really I want plastic for the sport quad and a rack or trade both for a utility quad over 200...

I think your best bet would be to find a good trade, as putting the plastics from one machine onto another may prove to be more work than you think. Plus, it sounds like you want to use this machine for a different purpose than for what it was intended. I would put an ad on Craigslist and see if you can find a good trade for something that better fits your needs. Good luck.

      Has anyone had a suzuki 230 quad lock the engine up?  Its a well maintained bike, it locked up when my son was riding it. Pulled the plug, it has connected with the piston. I'm thinking the con rod let go.  I don't have a service manual.  Does the engine need to come out to check further?

      Oxidized or faded plastic body parts

      I recently read an article about restoring or at least improving the looks of faded and discolored plastic body parts. In the article it suggested using a 50/50 mixture of boiled linseed oil and paint thinner. You mix it up and apply it with a brush or rag to rub it in and remove the oxidation. I curious to find out if anyone has had experience with doing this and what was their short/long term results of doing so. I would hate to try it and find out that a few weeks/months down the road my plastic body parts self destruct.

      Help New to a Suzuki 2001 king quad 300

      First post here need some help/advice. I bought a 2001 king quad 300, vin number JSAAK43A212111871. I have been trying to do some basic maintenance as it runs but doesn't idle all that well . I want to take out and clean/repair the  carb but when looking for parts it ask for model X Y K1 K2. How do I know which model I have? I have tried some vin decoders but they haven't told me. If anyone could recommend a carb rebuild kit for my quad Id appreciate it. Also any tips on tracking down an owners manual?
