Honda 200es atc timing

Im trying to figure out the timing on my Honda CDI ignition. Do quads have the same set-up? Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Thanks again.

Your CDI and Timing are two differnt things......

What yr.....and does it Run???

Its a 84 Big Red. No it does not run.

Air, Fuel, Spark......Have any of that????

Its got spark, fuel, and 125psi comppression test. I should have told the history. Spark advance mechanisum blew apart. The hole on the cam was egged out. I changed the cam, spark advance, and the plate with the block on it. I think its a timing problem. Im ready to give up. Bruce

Go to section 3 of this manual . You will have to pull the stator cover off and find your timing inspection plug ..... basically line your "T" mark up on the crank and on the cam side you will have a "V" shaped notch above the cam sprocket ..... the sprocket will be stamped with an "O" , line these up .

It turned out to be a bad spark advance I bought from a guy on E-bay that came from a "running machine". Thanks for the help. Bruce
