I've had this for probably 15 years. It ran great till 4-5 years ago, mainly riding the grandkids around our fields, till it wouldn't start. It sat for a couple of years till I bought a new battery, but couldn't get it to even hit, so rebuilt the carb, put on a new fuel pump, but no go, so it's sat. Several days ago, charged battery, cranked over and it started??? OK, idles good, but won't rev up, so emptied gas tank, flushed out and filled w/good 93 octane, pulled pump line from carb and have good full line of fuel cranking over. New spark plug, good spark, old one black BAD! Oil change, adjusted valves, no difference. Pulled carb and took apart and cleaned, didn't find any clogs or crusted up inside. Now I've had the carb back off probably 6 times checking, double checking anything I can think of. No gas blowing back in air box. It idles good, can increase throttle up some then starts popping and dropping rpms off and if I don't let off the throttle, it'll die. I've read for 3 days now MECHs and RANDY walking several thru tracing the same problem, tried MOST of the direction given. ??? -

Hello all! New to the site, I came here seeking answers as I've decided to help my cousin get his once good running buyou 220 going again.
I've owned an 82 kawasaki kz1100 and have done lots of work to it over 20 years of ownership.
Looks like the wire diagram colors are same or similar to my bikes wiring, a definite plus
Cousin was riding through fairly high weeds and brush after it's rained, when it just died. It would turn over but no fire.
This to me sounds like perhaps a CDI issue or a fried coil, idk that why I'm asking you gurus LOL

Hello,
recently I removed my starter because it was to slow so before buying a new one I thought cleaning it. So I did and it did went much better.
The thing is I replaced it exactly as it was but since then the starter goes freely like there’s no dentelywheels.
Did I do something wrong ?

Okay so I bought this 1997 sazuki king quad from a guy and he had it for a few years.
He had it registered and on the trails last year but he said it bogged and backfired when he would try to drive it. so it sat for a year.
I bought it for 800 bucks and got it running that night and it ran great for a few days
But I parked it the other night and went to start it again and it was really hard to fire up and when I did it was bogging and idling high then low again.
So I took the carb out and cleaned it (ended up doing it twice because it was still doing the same thing)
Now today I have it running slightly better, but it is still like 20%
I have been looking it up and trying to figure it out but I can't find the issue, has anyone else had this problem? I'll attach a video of it running and giving some throttle

just picked this one up and was wondering how you know for sure the the 2-stroke oil is going into the motor? I don't want to blow this thing up; I know I can unhook up the parts and just mix it myself but that's another can sitting around
