You may have sheared off your flywheel key, that will throw the spark timing off. Have you confirmed that you are getting fuel to the motor? Try using starting fluid, if you can get it to start briefly with starting fluid, your problem is fuel related. I would recommend getting yourself a repair manual, it will have the specs for testing your electrical components. Good luck.

BTW, what year is your Warrior?

Well then, I would check that flywheel key, pop off the inspection covers on the head and check to see if the valves move when you turn the motor over. While you have covers off, check your valve lash, tight valves can make for hard or no starting. Lastly, get that repair manual, it is a must have if you want to work on your own machine. Like I said, it will have the test specs and procedures to test the electrical parts that you can check. Good luck.

I have replaced the cracked stator cover on my non-running 2006 LT-F400F that I purchased recently, checked all the shafts vs the service manual and pics and advice here.  I replaced missing gears, bushings and washers, made sure that truth marks were all aligned properly, that the shift cam springs felt like they returned properly, etc.  IAfter installing the new stator cover I checked the transfer lever for proper movement from L-H-R and then cranked it up.  Happily, it runs and changes gears well in L,  but it will not shift into H or R for anything.  I have opened it back up and am going back through it looking for the missing puzzle piece(s) but how can I best check that I have everything right this time before buttoning it back up?

Question for you guys. I have a 98 bayou 220 that I picked up cheap cause it's wasn't running. So it's has very low compression. It is getting spark and fuel.
What should my next course of action be? Any other tests I should perform or where to start looking?
      Thanks in advance.
