The family has two quads and have been asking where to ride around here- we are about 70 miles north of spokane and looking for places that are nice to go visit for beginners.
We have a 2003 Polaris sportsman, and a 2004 Artic Cat 2-up (I forget the size)

So I live in WNY and have been riding 3 wheelers since we bought a couple Big Reds new in 1982! I have a vast collection of 3 wheelers... 85 ATC70, 70 US90 Aquarius Blue, 83 ATC110, 83 ATC185s, 83 ATC185s w/PK Rear Suspension Kit, 81 ATC200, 85 YTM200ERN, 84 YTM225DX with Reverse added, 85 ATC250ES Big Red, 82 ATC250R, 82 ATC250R with Hondaline 300 Kit, 86 ATC350X rider, and a 85 ATC350X... "the Hondaline Special!" If anyone has 3 wheeler issues or questions, feel free to replay here!
However, I do have a couple token 4WDs... an 87 and a 89 LT-4WD Suzukis. I am currently working on replacing the one-way starter clutch in my 89. What a pain! WAY too many items to be removed to access the left side cover. However, doing better than what the Suzuki manual says... they say to remove the motor! I was able to do some engineering fanangling... lol

Morning myself, my wife, son and stepfather and a few others head up to Jericho NH a couple times a year. It’s beautiful and we love it. Only issue is it’s4 1/2 hours away looking for places a bit closer. Maybe southern NH? My son and I love sand pits and wife and stepfather like the trails with views. W we register them in nh, but never had the need to in mass as we never found anything this way. if anyone has any suggestions please please let er rip. Either for the day, or if camping available, for a few days. thanks in advance.

Exploiting a loop hole in the law, turn 4 wheeler into rev trike
for a long while I have been trying to get a real 4 wheeler street legal.
the problem is with the state laws, if it has 4 wheels, its a car and has mega more rules.
If it only has 3 wheels, its a trike and can be made from cobbled junk parts held together with duct tape and they will plate it
I wonder if anyone would have insight on changing a 4 wheeler over to a single rear wheel?
[ I can't afford some $40-60,000 canam or super bike modded into a car, rev trike kit ]
I want something I can truly ride year round on and off road. Ive rode enough old Honda 3 wheelers that I know I do not want a traditional motorcycle trike. So the single wheel has to go out back.
