Just got a 2000 WARRIOR 350, rAN GREAT AT OTHER OWNERS HOUSE. Brought home, rode all over about 2 days then started cleaning it. then I put pads on back brake & busted caliper but my problem is it will crank and idle good, when i push throttle it spits, pops, and backfires at times. Only thing I did to this ATV was wash the air filter sponge with gas, dry completly, clean screen good and put back on foam on screen at end to eng. might have been damp. thats all I did, any help please. Does anyone have a photo of how to take carb. apart just in case, THANKS

if u drain the gas and nothing is in there try putin fresh gas in and if that dont work take the bowl off the carb and check for dirt or debris but dont mess with anything else unless you know wat your doin make sure to remeber exactly how you tok it apart theres only 4 screws on bottom of bowl

carbs are not rocket science. just get a factory manual and follow it to a tee. the problem with carbs is that it is foriegn to most people and that scares them. i rebuilt my first carb on a car at 12 years old and that was a chevy quadra-jet. atv carbs are a cake walk. don't be shy once you have the manual. i would probably clean out the fuel tank and the fuel delivery system before you pull apart the carb. i would have to say you have a plugged off petcock if it was working fine till you got it home. that would be the best place to start.

I've been hunting for a rebuild kit or aftermarket replacement without success. Any tips? The OEM replacement is too rich for my blood.

      Hello all!
I was given a 2000 Suzuki Quadrunner 500 (Quad 500 Runner?) and its current state is a bit of a mystery!
Kept indoors but hasn't been run in 5 years.  We're not trying the engine until the gas is replaced, and the tires are reinflated. But the previous owner said their only issue was stalling when shifting to reverse without giving some throttle.
      I'm optimistic!  See y'all around!
