All I have seen today on the news is how badly the east coast has been beaten up by a 'blizzard.' That blizzard was here a week ago- it didn't even make the news...

Our airports stayed open- we are prepared for this weather- it happens to you folks every year as well and everybody seems surprised.... hmmm

Tip: when you see a storm in the Northwest, start getting ready on the East Coast!

I still have 18 inches of snow in my front yard...

It seems like people would eventually get used to the same weather they get season after season. I totally agree, and I blame the media for alot of that. If there isn't someone getting killed or raped, they will try to sensationalize any thing they can, like REGULAR weather. On the other hand, some people are just stupid and no matter how many times they see snow or heavy rain, they freak out. It rains more days than it doesn't here, and traffic still comes to a screaching hault as soon as the first raindrop falls. It's ridiculous.

This was a Noreaster up the coast that was a product of two storms (one on the west coast), which caused heavy winds and blizzard conditions. It was the windiest storm I have seen in years, a true blizzard. Yes we have had snow storms before, but when NYC gets hit hard..it makes world news.

Took me 3 hours of snow removal today, with my quad and a shovel.

It's still 30 mph winds with clear skies right now, blowing snow.

I pulled out my Big Bear needed to do a few things probably havent been started in a year. Gassed it up charged the battery started right up. I have been using it around the property for this and that. Went to hook up my trailer to pull up to the house while it was idling it quit. Went to start it turned over but wouldnt start. After trying a few more times lost all power. Pulled it up to the house with the John Deere, the first thing i checked was the Universal fit soloenoil from Amazon and it was only a 10 AMP fuse so it does not universally fit the big bear it should be 30 AMP fuse. At the time i remember noticing it but forgot, at the time i had other problems like wiring harness being in a box stuck engine and no spark. when i bought it, yeah i know, thats one ishould have walked away from, but if i go to the trouble of hooking up my trailer and going there, its following me home.
Thats old news, i still need to check it all out see if it lost spark and see if the starter shorted out it was acting kind of sluggish, i replaced the fuse with the spare 10 amp and blew immediately. I will try a 30 and see what happens.

Hi im new to the site. I have a 99 sportsman 500. I has been sitting for about a year now. I bought a new battery for it the other day and now i dont have any power to anything but the winch. Any help would be great. I already cut the pouch and checked voltage on both sides of the circuit breaker.
