Hello, Im new to the site but I have been reading the forums and like the input so I wanted to ask everyones opion of what is going on with my quad? The last time I was riding my 400 I was on the gas in 3rd or 4th gear and it started acting like something with locking up or catching in the trans, then it did and stalled the engine and the tire stopped and I slid to a stop. it did this once before but it started back and ran fine since. This time it will not crank back, wont even attempt to spin the engine. I pulled the small 3 bolt cover off the end of the starter and spun the gears, they spin fine the opposite way but when you try to spin them in the direction the starter spins the motor they wont budge......any ideas on the problem or what I may be missing?? Thanks in advance!

I have tried to put it in gear and get it to rotate but it wont budge. I took the small cover off the front of the starter and the side cover on the engine and tried to turn the crankshaft with a wrench and a socket/ ratchet and it wont move at all. The reason I am asking if I am missing something other than just the obvious that the trans or eng is junk is because it did this one time before and then it broke free like nothing was wrong and ran flawless for months until now.

2022 Sector 550, 414 miles on it and the gas gauge reads empty.  I topped off the gas and it didn't change.
There is no fuse that I could find.  No access at the gauge cluster.
Wiring on the top of the tank looks good, properly connected.
Could the sending unit in the tank be stuck or broken?
Has anybody removed the tank lid?  Any tricks?
      Any other ideas?
      Thanks for any help,
      Clyde

My friends KQ 300 starts fine and runs, as soon as you put it in gear and try to accelerate its bucks and farts like crazy, not moving... I cleaned carb and it worked good for 1 day... now back to same problem.... could it be such as a bent valve????

I have been exploring all the options available, so many, its hard to choose. I have kind of narrowed it down to the Honda Pilot, Subaru Outback, and Kind of looking at the Outlander, although its a little small,  the new one is nice looking. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations or gripes with any of these rides. I have driven Jeeps for the past 25  years and they have been great, but their price point has gotten to high. Expieriences good or bad would be helpful. Thanks!

Have a 1998 AC 300 2x4, Just installed a new carburetor. Engine starts easy but the choke RPMs are very hi and take along time (5-10 mins when cold out). After engine has warmed up choke releases and it idles and runs fine., It does no have an electric choke. The choke lever is never used and it seems like an auto choke? Long story short, how can I lower the choke rpm levels?

Also, carb came with a spare145 jet, not 100% sure what is installed. Could this impact choke RPMs?

Any help and information greatly appreciated.
