Bought 2 months ago. Last week it started flooding and dumping fuel. Called dealer, and they can get to it in 60 days. SERIOUSLY! The 4 wheeler is not a pass time toy. It is a tool I use on a ranch, and I dont have the option of waiting 2 months. Have taken carb off; checked the needle and seat. There was a plastic shaving preventing shutoff. Or so I thought. Put it back together and still pours fuel. Adjusted float and still the same. Any help greatly appreciated.

The block has AC70 2000727 if that helps

What r u working on 2011 what!!? Is it leaking from carb or the shutoff? I would start by checking all the fuel lines for a hole or crack or just a loose fit or loose hose clamp.

It must be Artic Cat since thats the forum its under !

think my dad and I got it. carb on and off 3 more times adjusting float level. it is working at the moment with nary a drip. My guess is the little plastic shaving was there from assembly all along and it just moved a bit to the side, where it was when I found it. Dont really understand how it worked at all, being so far out of adjustment. Found and fixed another item or 2 during the process. I figure if someone, or a company used todays technology along with quality workmanship (as opposed to crappy workmanship) they would be the only game in town.

thanks to all who have responded. could still use a book, if anyone has a manual I can download Id appreciate it.

Just some friendly advice on new tires. Check with your ATV dealer.
There are so many aftermarket sites, Revco, Royal Distributing, Partzilla, and on and on. Even with their “ big sales”, my local Canam dealer’s REGULAR price beat the tire prices of the 3rd party sellers! People often assume the Dealership will cost them more, but I found this not to be true!

Pretty cool modification for all you 3-wheeler enthusiasts!

Have a 1998 AC 300 2x4, Just installed a new carburetor. Engine starts easy but the choke RPMs are very hi and take along time (5-10 mins when cold out). After engine has warmed up choke releases and it idles and runs fine., It does no have an electric choke. The choke lever is never used and it seems like an auto choke? Long story short, how can I lower the choke rpm levels?

Also, carb came with a spare145 jet, not 100% sure what is installed. Could this impact choke RPMs?

Any help and information greatly appreciated.

      Hey all,

I am in search of a rear collar/hub part #2HT-25383-00-00 for my sons 4-wheeler. Of course it is very hard to find.

Does anyone have any idea where i might find or would a cross over from a different model work?

      Thanks,
      Paul

      I just have a question.
If I was to buy 3 Wheeler from a private party say a 1985 Honda 350 can I get it made street legal and if not can I still ride it out in the Arizona deserts?
