Tires and backpack

Hey Mario Stock rims for Honda are 9" on the rear and 10" in the front ! 22x12x9 tire will fit on a stock Honda rim The 12 # means the width of the tire has nothing to do with rim size !!

I know that silly. What im trying to find out is would a 12" wide tire fit on a stock rear Honda rim which is 9" wide. Clearance isnt an issue as there is nothing that I would see rubbing. But is the rim too narrow for a 12" tire.

Yes it will fit !! My sand tires are 12" wide and I have them mounted on 8" rims

like he said ...lol... they will fit but will be a little more rounded on the tread area .. might make them a little taller but not much.. i see them like that alot around here cause most of the riding areas here are swamp/river bottom flood plane areas..a little more ground clearance wont hurt ya any ..lol

Well taller is what i need. So ifi can get em ill go with the reg mudlites 12" in the back and the mudlite sp in the front.

sounds like a plan... happy mudding...lol. O an while you are at it go ahead an get the mini winch 2 put on your 400ex ...lol... its lite weight an u might want ot 2 go with the taller tire ... cause your gonna get stuck in worse places ...lol..

they make a utility style rack to put on the 400ex and it dosent stick out any more than the stock grab bar ..

Ive seen those. I believe it was called a cooler rack. Ive read that they crack very easy. Nothing I couldnt tig weld. Do they make a bag for it too? I couldnt find one that was a good fit

hey mario the rack my boy was talking about is a steel rack ... ill see if i can find it in a catalogue i have .. i used 2 have 1 on 1 of my 400ex's and it worked great... ill see if i can find a part # 4 ya also...

Ok thanks. Ive only seen the aluminum six pack rack or the cooler rack. Alot of posts saying they crack very easy. Most of the time when using the rack to lift the atv when its stuck.
