well what are they asking for it ? if you can find that out then offer about 1000 to 1500 less than the asking price then thats what i would do ... alot of dealers are willing to cut the prices alot right now to make sales #... and now that its considered a left over from the previous year they might make ya a good deal on it ...

they made me a deal of 7379.00 otd. normal sales price of 7699.00 Is the 2011 the first year with the new 500 engine? Would it be better to stay away from the first year production and go with a 2012? sorry for the questions but i'm really excited right now

Are you financing or buying outright? If your paying cash they can do alot better than that. Plus watch out for the dealer add ons like overpriced skid plates, racks ect. which will go way over what you saved. What the difference between the two model years. Is it a carry over or totally new design.

as far as the design, its a carry over, nothing new just colors. i won't be paying cash so i don't have that leverage. it doesn't have power steering though and from what i hear, i would be crazy to not find one that has it for the 300 or 400 more.

If your going to do alot of trail riding you might miss the power steering. Ive never drove a 4x4 for more than a day so i cant say from experience. Thats why i dont understand about new sport quads. 7000 - 9000 for a brand new 4 year old quad. Also i think dealers are desperate. So you should have leverage in that respect. Dont be eager when your there too.

And a universal piece of advice. When you go into any dealer (atv, car, truck, drug) and they ask you how much could you afford a month for financing, NEVER say a number but if you do go real low. Play dumb cause once you give an honest number say $300 per month they will work a finance plan around that number or more only.

There's a $500 rebate right now....Here's a dealer in NY from who I have bought 3 quads from. Look at their price list for 2012s... ATVs

For a 2011 500 King Quad with no power steering, I wouldn't pay more than $6500 on the high side.

Also, for the few hundred more, I would get the 750.

* Added manufacturer to thread title.

Just some friendly advice on new tires. Check with your ATV dealer.
There are so many aftermarket sites, Revco, Royal Distributing, Partzilla, and on and on. Even with their “ big sales”, my local Canam dealer’s REGULAR price beat the tire prices of the 3rd party sellers! People often assume the Dealership will cost them more, but I found this not to be true!

I am trying to diagnose a no spark issue with my 02 Big Bear 400 and I am really hoping it is not a CDI.  I have done the test on the stator and I believe that is faulty.  I ordered a new aftermarket one from a the jungle website and it tested bad right out of the box so I am waiting for a different one to arrive from an ATV parts supplier.  I started looking out of curiosity at CDI units and it seems if it is for a big bear you are SOL.  Kodiaks, no problem.  Big Bear. No such luck.

As the title says I am on the search for a used OEM 1995 King Quad Carb. I believe it says Mikuni on the side. If you could even help me find info on which carb it is exactly that would be helpful too, or motorcycles/other quads that use the same carb. Thanks!

      Hi everyone,
I often work on both ATVs and larger construction equipment, and I’m always on the hunt for solid OEM manuals—service, repair, and parts. The usual searches give a lot of random PDFs or unofficial scans that aren’t very trustworthy.
What online sources do you all use when you need a factory manual quickly? Are there sites you’ve found that consistently provide genuine OEM content for ATVs or heavy machinery?
I recently came across Heavy Equipment Manual, which claims to provide verified OEM service and parts manuals (covering brands like Caterpillar, Komatsu, Kubota, etc.). Has anyone here tried it, or do you have other go-to resources you’d recommend?
I’m interested in options that are:
      ·        Fast to download
      ·        Cover both heavy equipment and ATV models
      ·        Clear on licensing and safety
Thanks for sharing your experiences and any recommendations!

Hello my name is David, I have been riding for over 30 years ATV, dirt bikes, S x S you name it. I ride with a small group off and on though out the years. Currently, we have only three of us that have been riding this year and we are looking for more people to join us!
If you're in the Northern California area and looking for people to join on weekend and day trip rides send me an email: [email protected]! We have been to many OHV sites all over the state and we usually try to meet up for a ride once a month.
I look forward to hearing from you!
