So it's pretty much time to give the plastics a little resotration. They aren't bad, but the previous owner got them pretty scratched up on trees and stuff. Nothing too deep, mostly small surface scratches. Is there anything that helps shine them up? I used Armor All a few times, but it shines for awhile and doesn't do much.

i have heard this is about the best stuff available. Plastic Gloss is made and sold mostly in Nova Scotia, Canada.

yes maybe ... i don't think you'll find anything that you or i would be happy with ya know? the products out there promise this and that, but will wear off like the amour all. another less expensive product you can use and i use it regularly, is pledge furniture polish, it doesnt seem to be as sticky as the amour all. it lasts maybe a little longer than the other too....

there are a few kits the involve wet sanding and a few other steps that I thought about trying but for the time and effort might a well get new plastics

Unless your going to make your quad street legal or show it, just get some multipurpose cleaner, spray your quad down, hose it off then go onto next ride.

or take the plastics off and get it hydro-dipped... i would go that route if i was to that stage...

I've used a few products with some good results.

The first product is Maxima SC1 Clear Coat.

This stuff works great, easy to use and smell good too. Clean your bike and spray it on. Leave it sit over night and your plastics will look like new.

The other stuff that I tried that gave me some decent results was Mop & Glo.

Just apply with sponge brush slowly so not to make air bubbles and let dry over night.

Both products act like a clear coat and hide all the little surface scratches

Hi guys, I was given a 2000 Honda Recon fourtrax 250 (I think that's the full name lol). The previous owner had it sitting for a while before I got it. It sat for another few years in my ownership. I got it up and going on its first test drive today!! I was wondering where everyone buys their parts from?  Coming from the car community, we have sites like RockAuto and many more. Anything like that for quads? Also would like to be pointed in a direction, if possible, for plastics. I am missing a few and would like to have it complete. I appreciate any input!

I have (2) sets of brand new plastics available for Honda Rancher 420 2014-2023. These are genuine genuine OEM Honda plastics. One set is white and the other set is green. The boxes these are in are too big to ship.(Unless you want to pay for it. If so, lookup your own shipping rates from 17325 and box size is 58"x35"x18").  $400

So here's a topic for anything goes forum and to get a way from the china virus stuff...lol. Has anyone been noticing the small drips of news about ufos and the government confirming? President Obama has an interesting late night segment. How warm and fuzzy do you feel when an ex-gov official confirms objects in the sky they can't explain...
