Have you checked sites like bikebandit.com and looked in their OEM section? See if the part numbers are the same for the carb...between years.

All 91-98 LTF-4wd use basically the same Mikuni BST31SS carb. See:

CARBURETOR REBUILD KIT: SUZUKI LT-F4WD

Why do you need a kit? I've never replaced a part on either of my old Suzuki's carbs.

The 91 has over 6000 miles and was a wreck when I bought it. Taking the carb off and just cleaning the fuel bowl area seems to cure most problem. To prevent future problems

install a 1/4" inline fuel filter. I got one off ebay for under $2

ok thanks, and my dad recommended i do a kit, but i just pulled it apart again yesterday and found it very clean. i soaked it in marine cleaner(my local hitching post recommended i do it) and when i was done it looked brand new! i also soaked some screws and things in it to clean them up too! it worked great! im going to put it back together and try that.

also when taking it apart i found my fuel mixture screw was VERY far out, im guessing that had a huge effect...

question tho, will the fuel filter mess up the fuel pressure?

The fuel filter will cause no problems. I bought my 1993 Suzuki LTF-4wd new and the dealer had installed one. I didn't even know it was there until it plugged up and needed replacing 19 years later.

This is the one I bought, it is identical to the one it replaced, sorry I was wrong on the price, they are $4.75 :

1/4" Fuel Filter Visu Filter Made in the USA CR 125 250 ATV GO Kart Motorcycle | eBay

Just cut the line on top where it passes under the seat and plug it in. No clamps needed because the pressure is so low. Note the directional arrow on the filter.

I am trying to diagnose a no spark issue with my 02 Big Bear 400 and I am really hoping it is not a CDI.  I have done the test on the stator and I believe that is faulty.  I ordered a new aftermarket one from a the jungle website and it tested bad right out of the box so I am waiting for a different one to arrive from an ATV parts supplier.  I started looking out of curiosity at CDI units and it seems if it is for a big bear you are SOL.  Kodiaks, no problem.  Big Bear. No such luck.

Did a top end rebuild, honed .010 over, new piston, rings, valve seals, etc. When i re assembled i only had like 30 psi of compression but then after it sat all night i now it seems to have gained some somehow, there is much more resistance pulling it over and i even got it to fire for a few pops. Issue i got is that it makes a loud squeak noise through the intake i believe (goes away when throttled so something with carb area) and it seems to not want to run well. I took head cover back off and timing seems fine so im not sure if something is sticky and that's why i got some change over time or maybe the valve lash is messed up after doing all this, i did get another cam for it but i wouldnt think it would make enough difference to need to re lash. Any insight on next step would be appreciated, i will be looking up how to do lash on these because it is a very weird angle to slip a feeler gauge in.
Actually cam is slightly off now that i look at the picture, thought it was good while looking in person. Hmm.

As the title says I am on the search for a used OEM 1995 King Quad Carb. I believe it says Mikuni on the side. If you could even help me find info on which carb it is exactly that would be helpful too, or motorcycles/other quads that use the same carb. Thanks!

I rebuilt the top end on my 2007 Honda Trx500fe. It ran fine right after the rebuilt. But now when I try to crank it it blows Bach through the carburetor. I held my hand over the opening for the intake air and it blew gas back on my hand. Can figure out what happened all of a sudden. It was cranking and was able to ride it running through all the gears. Now can get it to crank just blowing gas back to the air filter. Need help again. Starting to think I should have walked away from this one.

      Hi everyone,
I often work on both ATVs and larger construction equipment, and I’m always on the hunt for solid OEM manuals—service, repair, and parts. The usual searches give a lot of random PDFs or unofficial scans that aren’t very trustworthy.
What online sources do you all use when you need a factory manual quickly? Are there sites you’ve found that consistently provide genuine OEM content for ATVs or heavy machinery?
I recently came across Heavy Equipment Manual, which claims to provide verified OEM service and parts manuals (covering brands like Caterpillar, Komatsu, Kubota, etc.). Has anyone here tried it, or do you have other go-to resources you’d recommend?
I’m interested in options that are:
      ·        Fast to download
      ·        Cover both heavy equipment and ATV models
      ·        Clear on licensing and safety
Thanks for sharing your experiences and any recommendations!
