I am throwing this out there to see if anyone is intrested in trying to get together for a ride this fall in either PA or NY. I say we start throwing some dates around and see who can attend. Once we find the date the we can pick a centeralized place based on who is going.

So who things they can make it sometime in September or October. And where do you want to ride?:cheers2c:

I don't work weekends and with some notice my wife could get days off. The only limit I have is my quad is not registered or insured so some places won't let me in.

I will be following this thread ;) (someone tell me why I cant type an apostrophe?!?!?!??!)

Well if people have an RAC pass we can ride RAC land in eastern PA. According to some posters in Black Rock Trail Riders forums, seems as though they are cracking down on trespassing in east PA especially on the railroad tracks. V-Force John has a ton of acreage behind his shop in Barnesville PA. Anywhere in that area or close by in NY is ok for me.

One of the places I would like to throw out there is Tall Pines. index We rode there this spring, we got a group discount, and no registration is required. It sure will keep you busy all weekend.

RAC requires insurance and I would not like to exclude anyone unless everyone else is set on going there. I rode RAC many times and love it out there.

I heard about V-Force Johns and would like to check that place out. Are there any issues with riding there.

I think Centeral PA or Centeral NY might be our best bet.

No issues except its easy to get lost lol. He usually lets people ride whenever they want. A big ride, I would ask him first. He is a great guy all around. He has his quad repair shop, gas station, convenience store and even has a quad dyno all in one building.

Tall Pines with enough notice would be a possibility for me. I am the only quad rider in my family, but it seems like there would be enough there to keep my wife and kids busy while I was riding. A nice weekend family event could be had.

I'm going to follow this thread also. Depends on if I could get off and the wife could...NY is best for me, but maybe PA.

So what weekends in Sept and October can you two get off? Are they already set dates?

I think the next step would be to pick a weekend. The first two weeks in September are OK and the last three weekends in October also work. If we have to choose another weekend because of work schedules then I will do everything I can to be there.

I called Joe at Tall Pines to see what is new and what other things will be going on at the farm. I wanted to see how cold it will be camping also. As soon as he calls me back I will share the info. If we ride at tall pines we can spend the weekend there and there sure is enough going on to keep busy. For those who don't ride the farm will be in fall mode with pumpkins and a corn maze.

I have personally rode there and can vouch for the trails. This meets our requirements of a central location, no insurance required, and camping/cabin/hotel options.

Lets plan this for the earliest date in October and see who can make it.

Who can make it during the 2nd week of October? The 12th thru the 14th this is right after Columbus Day weekend.

Post your name and if you are definitely attending or maybe attending below with a head count. I will work on group discounts when the time gets closer and we know how many are attending.

I will have 4 people. My wife, my son, my daughter, and myself of course. I am the only one that rides, but if there is lots going on they could keep busy while I am riding. Hope for decent weather also as we will be tenting it.

Ok, we are all agreeing on Tall Pines? End of September would be better for me. I have 2 birthdays( weekends) and my anniversay in the middle of October. Or even beginning November is ok.

Most likely it will be Me and I can prolly get Mark there too. Maybe also a 3rd rider but not sure.

Well I figured if I did not pick a place and time to at least talk about we would never get anywhere.

Tall Pines seems like the best fit for the location and insurance requirements. If we tend to be getting more members from one specific area we can always move the ride closer to them.

Any week in October would work for me. What weekend do you have free in October?

Wait what about SSRT??

Wylde does not have insurance on his quad so I don't think SSRT would give him a sticker.

I am just trying to see what place works best for everyone.

I am planning a trip to SSRT sometime this fall, You just have to watch what is in season to hunt. The off trail riding is fun but you don't want to get any of the hunters mad.

only reason I am asking is if the ones that are confirmed to go have reg/ins then SSRT I think is the place to go. Guess the one w/o reg/ins are the one that really need to commit since the location of the trip is around them.

Maybe shoot out some dates and if they have reg/ins and start from there. If you need any help let me know, Mark

If you guys get enough people for a certain location go for it. You don't all need to try to work around me. It seems I am the only one that doesn't have the paperwork. I am in the process of changing jobs right now anyway and would really be stretching my budget to do it.

Hi guys, I have a 2004 big bear 400. Last winter while plowing the driveway, I heard a loud pop from the left side of the engine. It continued to run as I looked for leaky fluid, but then died shortly after backing it up and won’t start now. The oil light comes on when I try to start it, no noise or anything else.
No blown fuses that I can find.

I just bought a 1984 Suzuki LT185 ATV and am looking for the OWNER’S manual. ( not a service manual)
I contacted Suzuki Canada but they have no paper or digital copies in their archives.
Does anyone possibly have a digital copy they’d be willing to share?
