Getting ready to buy a new Honda 500 4 x 4 Foreman. Factory tires are: 25 X 8 X 12 (front), 25 X 10 X 12 (rear). I want to put Super Swamper Vampires - 27 X 10 X 12 (front), 25 X 12 X 12 (rear) in place of factory set up. Will I have any type of bike clearance issues, etc by doing this?

you have to keep all the tires the same size or else you will have major repairs after the first time in 4 wheel drive.

you should be alright for clearance, you can always click your shocks to a stiffer setting if not, but i think you will be ok ....

Yeah 4 wheel drive the front and rear shafts have to spin at the same speed. Different size tires will spin at different speed and the gearbox won't be in sync. If you only plan on running in 2wd no problem, but 4wd will send parts and pieces flying.

Hi, I have been around everything with a motor since I was little, and finally purchased more to get my husband, and kids involved. I have 4 quads I will be searching around for information on. I have two 2002 Suzuki LT80K quads, a 1997 Yamaha Timberwolf 250, and a 1996 Kawasaki Bayou 220. I have had different ones throughout the years, and plan on buying another Yamaha Banshee. I plan on trying to learn more about all of them, so I can customize some of them. I know nothing about them besides how to race them, my dad always took care of the rest, but figured it was time for me to learn.

I’ve got a 2000 400ex with a dg slip on muffler, it came with he stock muffler on it but the previous owner had the dg in a box so I put it on. I’ve been riding it for the past month and a half and every time I let off it backfires, and the other day the backfires got way louder, 2x louder! I’m concerned that I may hurt my motor? Why does is backfire??? Thanks

My name says it all. I have a '03 Honda Sporttrax 400EX with a new aftermarket carb on it that seems to be having issues. I can start it but it idles really rough and when I give it throttle it just kills the engine. I have tried adjusting the idle screw but to no avail. I am in the San Diego Ca area.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I would also like to get an owners manual for the thing too but can't seem to find a downloadable one.
