I have new plug in it but still weak spark.I have had snowmobiles but the motor on was easy to get to. I know some about power packs. I did down load the manual that was on here but does not give much on trouble shoting.

So if someone on here can give me some ideas on were to start and what to look for maybe I can get some good spark

Thank

Aw but if you niticed I sign my name the pirate That means I have one leg to work with. Plus to top it off I'm 72 years old. I have had snowmobiles old ones for 20 years and my main hobby is old outboard motors. Some of the newer outboard motor have had the power packs on them

Noiw these Quad runners are something new to me. So if I seen a little slow its just that these are new to me.

And I will take any help I can get

Thanks

it said there might be a number off, but this is what it said it was ....

if you can shine a trouble light there and look with a magnifying glass, you'll probably get it spot on.

but i think you have all the important numbers there for sure

there is a sight glass with 2 marks in the casing indicating high and low levels below the fill cap. for the weak spark i have found a weak battery when using the starter will produce  a weak spark. but using the pull rope produced a strong spark.

Troubleshooting a no spark issue, was running OK, maybe a little rich, turned it off, now no spark. I've checked/ohmed out the main key switch, the start/stop switch, neutral switch, brake switch - all good. It will crank the starter, but no spark with the starter or when I try the pull start. I've checked all fuses and diodes. Swapped battery. New plug. New coil. Swapped in a used CDI - no help. Traced, removed, cleaned, reattached all grounds. Removed things like my winch from the circuits to be sure a bad relay or something was dragging it down. When testing voltages, the orange wire going from the CDI to the ignition coil shows no/very low voltage-shouldn't it have 12V on it? Sometimes I get a very weak, intermittent glow on my spark tester, but not enough to fire the plug. I've checked continuity on just about all wires in the harness. Checked/cleaned/lubed w dielectric grease- all connections, redid a few that looked old/dirty. I've checked the stator resistances, all good, but have a stator and rectifier ordered anyway, will arrive Sunday. I verified that the rectifier has a voltage output back to charge the battery while cranking - 10.5-11V, low, but expected while starter is engaged. What else can I check as part of troubleshooting? I have a Haines service manual, but the 1999 350 4x4 seems to be an odd model, there isn't an exact electrical diagram for it, but found one for another year that has all the same number of wires and same color wires, so I've referenced that. Any hints, tips or advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

New to the forum here, hoping someone can help. I have replaced the cdi, coil and sparkplug yet still no spark. The measurements for the igniter and stator are what they are supposed to be, the kill switch is working as it should, the neutral light is working as well. Any ideas where else to look before i start trying to pull it apart for the stator and igniter?

Picked up a barn find that someone had already partially disassembled because the “motor locked up” but they never opened the case. Everything was bagged and labeled, and as I’ve mentioned before- I love a challenge ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

After a couple hours of fun with various pullers and hammers I managed to persuade the magneto/flywheel to come off. Hoo boy what a mess. Then I found an actual rats nest in the clutch cover. ಠ_ಠ

I've been using Valvolene 10w 40 ATV oil but, it's like $8.00 a quart. Is that about the going rate? Or is there cheaper alternatives that would be suitable? Thanks
