Mud Tires?

I have a 400ex 1999 and have a spare set of rims that I think I'm going to put some mud tires on, so when I get invited to go mudding I'm not being pulled through vs. going through... Just would like to stay with the group but still be on my 2x4. Any suggestions?

My quads rear tire size is 22-11.00-9

I agree Ox, I have seen alot of sport quads with "extra" sets of tires for mud, and most of them are ITP's. I had a 650 Prairie with them, and it always did well as an all around tire in the Georgia clay.

Tyler, find a set, and tear it up in the mud! Its easy to have a real good time, just don't forget, you aren't on a snorkled-up Utility!

Lol Thanks guys. Ill have to take a look. I thought about buying a set of Super Swamper lites. They seem like decent tires.

And I will tear it up. and I don't plan one submerging it if that's what you mean lol. Ill hop on my uncles 1000 Can-am outlander for that

I use CST Lumberjacks on the rear of my ex (22x11x9) and I can keep up with most 4x4s except for the real nasty stuff. The lumberjacks are cheap but are only 2 ply. I havent had any punctures yet and going on a year with them. I ride on asphalt alot and still have decent tread left

Not a popular tire but its cheap enough that if you dont like em you can swap em for another more expensive set. CST is the parent company of Maxxis i believe

I bought mine from an atv dealer in NY and they where only $70 per tire mounted. Thats NY dealer prices so im sure you can get em cheaper elsewhere
