2000 Suzuki LT F250 Owners Manual

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I am new to this site.

I was just handed down a 2000 model LTF250 from my father in law and I would like to get the owners manual for it so I know what I am working with.

Oxidized Black, a member here, has a huge collection of manuals. I beleive that one is in his collection. Hell probably jump in here soon, or try dropping him a note on his profile. Hes always helpful whenever hes got a manual. ( among other things too )

Thanks for the reply! I did exactly that and he is going to check. He thinks he only has 2002 and up.

What I really need to know is the best spark plug to put into this thing. Right now a Champion RA8HC is what is in there, but someone recommended finding out what the manufacturer recommends.

I had some issues with the ATV overheating and then it wouldn't start very easily. The person I was with thinks changing the spark plug wont obviously fix the overheating, but may help the starting issue.

My 2002 ltf500f uses NGK CR6E. Not sure if its the same for a 250 but you could cross reference the #s. Im with OB, use NGK plugs.

Thanks guys for the info. I was able to go to the NGK site and put in the make and model and they told me the plug I needed.

I guess the only other thing the owners manual would tell me that I need right now would be how much and what type of oil should I use? Any help there?

I also probably need to change the air filter and oil filter, but I bet I can find those based on whats on there now. Any thoughts on brands of those.

What other basic maintenance should I do to get this thing ready for hunting season. What all needs to be lubed or cleaned?
