  1. alba was cheaper:yes:by like 20 bucks

Just be carefull with after market plastics, sometimes they dont fit right or the same as oem...so ive heard. Never had them though. I do have an aftermarket full ac skid plate and that didnt even fit right , had to bend it up in the front because it wouldnt fit with the bumper. The front of the skid plate stuck out too far so we bent it behind the bumper. Looks good, but always be careful with non OEM after market stuff.

  2. ya i got front holeshots, those would be good for mx im assuming? i would only use the razrs for racing and keep the old tires for beating around the yard

My man has gncc holeshots on the rear of his raptor 700, they are good for mx , they look alot like the razrs cept the holeshots have a lil deeper lug on them.

  3. thanks, i was looking to paint the front and back fenders white and then the gas tank cover white and the front black, paint the frame chrome and the engine metallic black so i think i can get this done soon pus im gunna order a custom seat cover, it will be white with black trim cause this cover is beat to crap. i dont have the money for new plastics, im broke:laugh:

I hear ya on being broke i think me and my BF spent another 1500 bucks on top of the 1300 bucks we bought the quad for. I kept the plastics that were on the quad (which are white and on the front has the black trim) just cleaned them with the mr. clean magic eraser...works GREAT on white plastics. I bought a new gastank cover and hood in black. I think the gas tank cover was around$65 and the hood was $40. I had a white gas tank cover didnt want to paint it because it gets alot of rubbin and such from riding so i wanted that to have the stock finish on it, thought it would hold up better.....and i had to buy a new hood cuz the one on it was cracked and broken. If you need OEM parts at ne point though check out Mrcycles.com. They have the cheapest OEM parts i have found. I think in the last few months i have given them more of my money than ne one else lol. They should dedicate a wing of there building in my name

  4. Are u keepin the plastics? When we painted the engine we used a glossy high temp paint and pretty much just painted the cases and the side. Came out good. While your tearin it down regrease everything. And if there are ne nuts and bolts that look questionable, do an OEM order for new ones or even just got to Lowes for some of them. And always do a clear coat on everything(except the engine) helps it keep up much longer. GOOD LUCK!!

  5. I found that rocky mountain atv had the cheapest tires. I got 6 ply regular razrs for 70 dollars a peice shipped. 4 ply is slightly cheaper. These tires work good for hard packer and loose sand/dirt. I got the 6 ply because we ride along the railroad beds to get to some trails so i wanted a thicker tire.

As for my carb yeah the idiot that had my quad before me stripped the pilot jet screw so cant get it out. My quad runs rich dont even have to choke on start up. Drips gas like crazy, so i cant wait to get the new carb in and see how he runs :o)

  6. Got some regular Razrs for the back tires, rode a lil with them and LOVE EM!! Cant wait to get some fore the front now. My carburator SUCKS!!! The pilot jet is broken and cant be removed. Im runnin rich and drippin gas out the over flow like crzy. SOOO we ordered on ebay a carb from a DRZ400 and we are gonna mod it to fit my quad. I guess its almost the same carb as the raptor 350. From what i understand. So thats on its way...cant wait to get it in the quad :o) Will get pics soon of its new shoes :o)

  7. Try turning in the rebound damping screw on the lower part of the shock using a flat head. Try it one click at a time until it feels better. I just had to have my BF do it on my warrior because my shock was too slow, not rebounding fast enough. I had the opposite problem.

  8. no its no jerking and is def the clutch i was also thinking maybe it over heated the springs causing them to lose tension

Did you double up on the friction plates...my bf says that when u put the new clutch in if u put another friction plate in it tightens things up pretty good.

  9. My warrior was supposably "redone" when we bought it......carb and such.....yeah he redid it alright....and screwed it all up tryin to play mechanic. My pilot jet is broken, and i need a new carb eventually here.

He also forgot to mention he had an allergy to grease....the swingarm was crack ed in half, and the thing was rusting from the inside out. We bought it ...it was dark when we were lookin it over, but we knew we were gonna put money into it ne way, just didnt realize how much stuff we needed to fix. But now its like brand new.....

Really take a good look at everything, make sure it has been takin care of, greased, and see how it runs. Check for cracks in the frame and the swingarm. I learned a huge lesson on my buy, so ill be a lil more observant next time. And when u get it home if you buy it, the first thing u should do is regrease everything especially the swingarm bolt. ( we had to cut mine off and buy a new one) lol!!! Good luck i hope its a good buy for ya

  12. UPDATE: SOOOOOOO here is a lil update on my ongoing warrior project. We were expecting to have it ready to ride by yesturday. We got the motor painted, after putting it back together. Got the engine in the quad. Hooked up the wire harness and it componants. All of which worked fine when we took the thing apart. The drum role.......turned the key, pulled in the clutch, hit the start button.....NOTHING!!!!!!!!!! So after fiddling and such we decided we are gonna have to go through each componant electrically and see what the problem is. SOOOOO we decided that we still wanted to hear it run. We jump started it from the soleniod to the battery....the thing started up no problem, sounded great , didnt even hesitate. We shut it down and started it again without the choke...started right up. We shut it down topped off the oil, went to jump start it again.....NOTHING!!!!!! :aargh::aargh::aargh::aargh: The engine turns over but NOW WE HAVE NO SPARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the hell??????????????????? We didnt foul the plug its brand new and looks fine. We checked the fuses and some other things, We found that the neutral switch is bad. But that shouldnt affect jump starting it. I AM SO FRUSTERATED WITH THIS THING RIGHT NOW. ALLS I WANNA DO IS RIDE.

We think it may be a bad stator. But not totally sure about it yet. Still running some tests. We do knwo that we need new relay switches as well, they are pretty beat up, so we started with one problem- electric start not workin......now we have two problems- DAMN THING HAS NO SPARK.

I will keep you all posted ..:aargh::no::mad::aargh::no:

If any one has ne insite please share :frown:
