So now alls we have to do is paint the motor and let it cure for a week, put it in the quad and im ready. No more pictures until the final project. I CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gonna customize a few graphics as well. U all are gonna love it. Stay tuned

Thanks, I'll prob just get new rims all together on smaller tires..instead of powdercoating stock ones..and some great and ..somewhat sad news..The great part is my parents are going to pick up my atv tomorrow!, the sad news is..I will be at work from 12-9pm..and im getting a white trx450r not black/blue..because a dealer is like literally half a mile down the street and selling a brand new white one for 5899..I like white..not as much as black..just dont like red..but i will be very happy..and anyone suggest a color of nerfs? Im thinkin ..black nerfs with black rims still..would be neat..white on black ..i dont like chrome
Oh and :aargh::aargh::aargh: <--Excited about tomorrow
Check out Albaaction.com for nerfs, i got an awesome price on mine. not sure if they would have somethin good for your quad. I got mine for $64.99. The alba nerfs are the same nerfs as tusk from rockymountain and rock from motosport.
Dont have them strung up yet but there on the quad
Also check out blingstar.com they have some good nerfs as well.

Looking really good. The color scheme you have is awesome. That is really cool how much work you put into detail too. Damn I need a GF like you. You got a sister? LOL. My ex GF wouldnt touch her quad except to ride. And my last GF wouldnt even get on a quad unless it was on the back with me. And that gets old real fast. Plus its dangerous. She was afraid of them. So, the 10:25 piston? Was that stock or is that your new one? 10:25 isnt very high. You can go as high as 12 or maybe 12:25 and still run pump gas.
LOL no sister, just a couple brothers. The new piston is 10:25. didnt want to go too much higher cuz then i would need a stroker kit and cant afford all that right now, just wanna ride

Recently talked to a friend and he said paint wont work on the rims at all..I cant see how they wouldnt..But i dont wanna spend money on powdercoat..not worth it
You can paint the rims if you rough them up, and use a good primer i chose not to paint my rims on my quad because the rims take so much of the brunt of things i knew the paint would be off so quick. powder coating them would def last longer, should be able to find someone to powder coat all 4 for 50-100 bucks. I just cleaned my rims up and polished them.

Did a lot of cleaning of parts, sorting out misc nuts and bolts. Need to do another OEM order for some misc mounting hardware that we forgot the first few times . Then we took him for a spin in the yard It doesnt have alot of get up and go with its current one man power motor (Zac pushed me around ) LOL!
We put everything together now just to make sure everything fits and works so when the head comes back we can get it all together quick.
Getting the chassis together, still got a lot to do. But it's nearly ready to have a motor thrown in Right now the top end is getting machined for the new piston. Goin from 83mm bore to a 83.5 with a 10.25:1 high comp piston.
Below is Zacs creative thinking Lightly polished, made to look brush to match the rear suspension bladder and axle.
Foot rest and nerfs bolted up. I'm wishing I cut off the mounts for the rear heal guard. We're not going to get any to put on, this looks much cleaner then with them.
I cleaned up the headlights and we're going to get the new plastic covers for it since a few of the honey combs are broke/missing. Havn't put them on because they're all apart. Just waiting for the head and cylinder to come back and a few misc nuts and bolts to order and he should be rideable soon !!!!!!

Got the front brakes on/bled. Got the chassis rolling. Put on the a-arm covers and shock covers from dirt skins. Tore the motor apart - need to order some parts and get the cylinder to a machine shop. We are gonna go with a Wiseco high compression piston probably go 1mm over.
We r going to fully assemble the the whole chassis, then tear it back apart to slip the motor in. This guy should be fully finish in a couple weeks. New tires are comin sometime this summer but right now just wanna ride.

Wowza looks like u had fun

Since you now have a rolling chassis and I know you are dying to ride, have you had your man push you down the street and yell BRAAAAAP!
It so funny u said that because Zac was jokin last night about that, he said he will toe me around the yard with his quad and i can make vraaaaappppp noises. hahaha

Here are some more pics everyone..........
Over the weekend we cleaned up and acetoned the A-arms and the axle carrier....
We also washed the frame up a bit and got some pics of the final paint coat with clear coat.......
We also put the new chain rollers on and put the new steering bearing in with the retainer nut.....as you can see the frame is already dusty even though we just cleaned it ......
Tonight we put primer on the A arms and the axle carrier, we will paint them tomorrow.
STAY TUNED KIDs FOR MORE PICS

Ughh just spent 350 bucks, i oredered an OEM steering stem, OEM gas tank cover, AC full engine skid, rear brake pads, and a K&N oil filter. And a new fox jersey lol. I always want to spend money on parts and new stuff but when i do i feel guilty. haha
-
Well Zac and I are all about riding in the woods, love the trails, we also try to find sand pits to play around in too.
-
Well just got my govt handout and bought an ac full skid , brake pads, and oil filter. Will be purchasing a new stearing stem and gas tank cover soon as well. Havent had much time or warm enough weather to finish the painting this past week, the frame is done. clear coated and everything. pictures to come soon. Still need to paint the A arms and then back together it goes. Still need to get the stuck head bolts out the engine though, but its comin along.
