  1. Nice work! I would say sand blasting was definitely a good call
  2. It actually probably is the overflow. If the float is sticking and letting fuel past slowly, it'll flood the carb bowl and run out the overflow. This happened to my 50 once. Cleaned it up, and now I always run the carb dry with the fuel off after every ride. Been years now with no issues.
  3. I do know that they've put a lot of effort into improving the XP platform after the redesign. Updated front diff, as the old ones used to break the covers off. More frame bracing, as the older XP's used to crack the frame at the A-arm mount points. As far as I know though the only problems I hear of these days are still faulty relays and circuit breakers, but I also don't know a lot of people with the refreshed XP's
  4. Wow, this has been an interesting read; You're definitely getting that machine looking great. It's funny because I'll never forget when I was younger -- a kid we ran into on the trails had one of these same machines. And man did he have no business riding it! Absolutely abused that thing, trashed it crashed it and rolled it all in one ride. We rode together several times after that and it just kept taking the abuse. Unbelievably durable machine..
  5. Hey all, Family of riders here in the north fort worth area. 6. Texas here, North fort worth area.
  7. it's not super close, but cross bar ranch is excellent. Ties into turner falls also for a nice way to cool off.
  8. Even though they're boring as can be to drive, I gotta give it to the older hondas. They just won't quit, especially the old 2wd ones. My kawasaki bayou 220 was a pretty darn good machine too.
  9. Hi there, I could use a service manual for a 2016 outlaw 110 efi. Having some struggles tracing out electrical components and could use a diagram as well as values for testing the various sensors to confirm their functionality. Hoping the service manual may have these!
