This is what I'll be using, I'll be pulling the tank/pump in the next week and flat bedding it. Right now it's set for pulling trailers/trucks and tows up to 35k lbs with ease. It also seats 6 so plenty of room for the crew

Does the neutral light come on? If not, it might be the neutral light switch. You can bypass it by grounding the switch and seeing if you have a difference.

Were you able to fix the problem? It sounded like a rectifier or electrical issue to me and wanted to hear the outcome to verify if my hunch was correct.

Just bought what I believe to be a 1995 King quad 300. Looking forward to getting the required number of posts so I can download this manual. Also looking forward to helping other folks their projects as I'm an experienced mechanic of over 20 years. -
How did it turn out, what was the culprit? My guess would've been a faulty thermo sensor...
