  1. jpz, Do you have the service manual, if so take a meter and test individual component, you should be able to do it with ease. any component that fall out of tolerance will need to be change
  2. Personal opinion but I would says Honda without a doubt
  3. Check your electric choke on the carburetor their is a black cap on it and it is retain in place by 2 Philips screw. Take it out… turn the ignition on you should slowly see the needle extending. If not working properly change it it about 10$ or even go for a new complete carb kit for about 30$. You’ll find everything you need on amazon

  6. Po from Quebec Canada, currently looking for new toy, ride many different beast over the years and been for long time working as mechanic, no longer in mechanics but keep doing a little for myself and friends.
  7. Most likely a component that failed, hoses, master cylinder etc. Fill up fluid and try to bleed you’ll probably able to find the leak
  8. Same here on my 86, will follow the post as well have you guys checked out the regulator/ rectifier, I’ve seen similar issues on a snowmobile
