  1. My 2005 650 Brute Force Is Running Hot The Fan Is On 75 Percent Of The Time

    Is That Normal?

My Hot Light Was Flashing The Other Day

When It Is Flashing Does That Mean "shut Down Now"

Or Does It Come On Solid When Its Time To Shut Down The Motor?

    Thanks For Your Help

    John

It is the hot time of the year, but that thing shoudl be able to stay at operating temparature and not have teh fan come on 75% of the time.

That's a Four-stroke, V-twin, liquid-cooled, SOHC, four-valve? I woudl check the coolant condition and level. also the oil level. Oil and coolant are what keep that thing running cool. Maybe it's time for a coolant flush?

  2. Hey peeps!

So if I ask a really dumb question, I Apologize in advance ;]. I read dirtwheels magazine, and am a big fan and I think thats pretty much all i have to say! Thanks for creating such an amazing site!

Welcome aboard Nate! There's no dumb questions...we're all here to help each other and share the one thing in common...ATVs! What year is that Twin Peaks? A 700 is a big first quad! Kudos to you for starting on that one.. I started with a Bayou 220, then Kawasaki 450, then King Quad 700...

Got any pics of the machine?

  3. About to acquire first ATV ... interested in two-up (Polaris Sportsman). Need to determine if 500cc will carry 195lb driver and 130lb passenger with extra fuel and light gear. also curious about range on tank of fuel. anyone with experience here to offer guidance?

    Yeah it will carry that..

    Fuel Capacity 6 gal./22.7 ltr.

    Front-Rack Capacity 90 lb./40.8 kg.

    Rear-Rack Capacity 180 lb./81.6 kg.

Hitch Towing Capacity 1225 lb./555.7 kg.

Braked Trailer Towing Capacity 1,995 lbs/905 kg

I personally am not a huge fan of Polaris and have seen my fair share of suspension problems on trails. Struts coming a part after hard hits, etc..

I would also check out the Can-Am. Outlander Max 500 EFI

  4. Hello members of ATV Connection, my name is Alice and I am currently a student and is enrolled in a consumer marketing research class.

Your first mistake is the fact that you are at QUADCRAZY, not ATV Connection! BIG NO NO!!! Shame on you!!!

Did you copy and paste this post in all the atv forums on the web, and start with ATV Connection?

Why don't you try and participate in these forums a little first, before asking people to participate in a market study.

  5. For you tube it works if you copy the URL code and then pick the icon at the top of the message board that has the mountains and moon. Paste it in there you are set. I can't get the ones from here to work.

You don't even need to use insertimage.gif, just paste the url from the video page. I noticed that also, where QC videos do not embed like that...

The supported sites are in this thread: http://www.quadcrazy.com/atvforum/announcements-support/3152-embed-videos-within-posts-added.html
