  1. I have not found any used late models of the Foreman. The one I found was almost the same $ as new>>>>OMG
  2. BTW...some trails allow only ATV's..Check details. The river normally has very clear water. There are beautiful camping facilities in the area. I stayed at one fairly close by that had a lake and beach.
  3. Gwbarm...is so smart...😘
  4. I had no low end power intermiiantly om yamaha 700 sxs. I replaced the belt with an aftermarket and rebuilt (cleaned and relubed) primary and secondary clutches. The new belt lasted about 4 miles and belt exploded into shreds. Admittedly i went through some heavy mud during the four miles. Guys told me the aftermarket belt will not take the heat. However, the primary had a 0.04 in smooth grove. in it (see herewith). I replaced the belt wit an OEM and replaced Primary clutch (got from EBAY). Runs great now. Don't know if this adds to the wisdom file for your problem.
  5. Here is better pic of rafts on our swim break. Its all day on the River. Everybody has to paddle hard to keep the raft moving tough the water fall rapids (11 foot vertical drop) or the rat will be pulled under by the "hydraulics" of the violent water. The guide sits on a wood platform steering the raft. We took several swim breaks. Cannot wait until this fall and go back ATV ing along the New River W Va. West Virginia is a great place to ATV or SXS.
  6. Trying to make trailer tie down tire bonnets from old tire chains. I am using 1/4 steel cable as pictured. I have overcenter straps pictured to tighten bonnets.. I am going to use 3/8 Cu tubing crimped on 1/4 in steel cable to hold cross chains in position
  7. My trailer is high. So being a Chicken the front is much safer looking. My SxS goes on easily. My Sand Rail likes to spin as it tries to pull the front wheels up the ramp. Given the boat trailer i salvaged has the axle way back --the boat was an inboard /out board so had a lot of rear end weight.- so i like the rear odf the sand rail towards the back.

    Me!

    Like the Shell necklace!
  9. I was concerned about towing up and down hills going to WVa. Also was concerned about emergency stopping traveling on interstates. Over cautious ...you think...?
  10. The electric shift?? So yours did not need your clutch being depressed when shifting? That is the way the new 'manual' transmissions work. I wonder if older Foremans are te same as the new foremans and Ranchers. I love the model name foreman as all of my "Toys" have men names. Ha Ha
  11. somebody here can help...but they will need you to tell more. No spark? no fuel ( spark plug should be wet with fuel after choking and trying to start) How long has it beeen sitting not running? what is model number and year? Mules are pretty smart...our neighbor farmed with mules. There hooves are pointed not like a horse hoof.
  12. The oil soaked in but My trailer boards are still too slippery for my snad rail to back up on. I was thinking about putting expanded metaal on a section but some kind of sand paint might be better.
  13. Lots of trails for ATV and SxS. They New River is a wild ride. The first set of rapids below the raft was three RR coal gondola cars submerged after a derailment . I lost my sun glasses in the first rapids. And keeping our tops on with the water crushing down across us was a constant challenge for us three girls in the raft. The guys were no help. Great trip...I recommend it.
  14. The dealer is wanting me to look A NEW fOUR TRAX Rancher-- MANUAL foot shift no clutch, 4x4, MANUAL STERING, Any advice before i go see him?
  15. West Virginia is a great place to ride. They have a lot of state sponsored riding areas. Check out the New River area.. Take the Raft trip if you are brave.
  16. Wow...I was there several times. I love the people.....They are the quintessential engineers/ mechanics. Glock was a Croation. The land mines were terrible...I stayed at the Josipol hotel. Drove down to Split one weekend. I have a ceramic clock of the Witches castle on my desk.🥰
  17. Motosport.comm Need to remember that.
  18. I think this is an overlooked "heads Up". I have a friend ---past friend, Oh well--who manages equipment at a nationally recognized golf course. They only use non-ethanol fuel. He said it is because of fuel related problems with ethanol fuel. $ in Fla is somewhat higher; however readily available at WaWa. In W Va its hard-to-find non-ethanol fuel.
  19. I know "kits" not OEM will often send extra parts to cover all possible models. My electric brake kit had two different size grease seals for variations in Dexter axles. Heck, when I buy from a dealer I go there with the part number and the old part. And I usually have advice from some guy who has " been there done that"....LOL.
  20. The Blow up of cylinder and upper didn't show that "ring" The crankshaft "blow up " shows a spacer that looks similar. I guessed at the year of yours as 1998...? I guess you will need to question the supplier if Kawasaki Parts does not show that part..
  21. I worry that the snorkle was put on so the guy / girl (haha) was running it in deep water. One salesman told me that deep water running required more than just a snorkle. Yeah I have to have a title --proof of ownership --where i ride and even to trailer it. I'll contact him and see if he has it and just did not list it.
  22. what is your model number? You did find the blow up picture of motor parts?
  23. Yeah Manual transmission...I like being in control. LOL. Two questions. 1 a dealer has a used 2024 rancher ..it has a fresh air snorkle??? 2. the ranchers have "electric ' reverse? is that good? I mean when i pull brush I like to pull backing up. 3. the Ebay dealer had no title??? He was in Mississippi.
