  1. Hope MECH is better....Back pain OMG... THey say it's worse than childbirth. I wouldn't know about either. Of course the model ES Jeff has is the air cooled four stroke w OHV. I am sure jeff doe not want to pull the motor (Jug) apart. So a video is great idea.
  2. That was interesting about pressurized crank case. HMMM
  3. BTW...for tender sufaces that you don't want marred i have soft nylon motorcycle tie downs. They are rated in Lbs ,600 lbs i think, and have a sewn loop so it can quickly be looped around something and be secure. the p-other end has just a straight loop. Herewith is a picture of a 12 inch strap.
  4. Here is my homemade wheel Bonnets. A friend gave me a bunch of old snow chain cross chains. 3/16 in steel cable for side straps. I crimped on 1/2 CU tubing to keep chains from sliding along steel cable. working on best tightening system now. The tire shown is a 15 inch on my sand rail. Should easily fit my SXS tires also.
  5. BTW Gwbarm will know if I am correct about the oil seal o ring inspection.. AND if you cycled the motor with the spark plug out did it blow oil??Just wondering for my own information.
  6. Happy Birthday The Great Big Beautiful USA!
  7. Great Job Jeff sticking with your problem...I wonder if you can just pull the Jug (Guys like to call the cylinders Jugs. LOL.) .pull the Jug off just enough to inspect the oil ring...it's the bottom ring on the piston. Remember if you pull piston out you will need a "ring compressor " tool to put rings and piston back in.😘
  8. release pressure after each test? when cranking without plug does any oil blow out? or pieces of carbon?
  9. YEs that is high from what I read. 70+ is in range from what i saw on Honda forums. cranking motor without spark plug does it blow out oil. Maybe there was oil in cyclindre. Rechec k. Release tge presssure between each check
  10. The gauges lock at the highest pressure. That is why it is not going down.
  11. Hey ,,...Let us know how it is going. The compression check will tell a lot. Remember what Gwbarm said to check compression then add oil and recheck compression. Good Luck keep in touch.
  12. BTW there are a lot of Pythons down there...so Goooood mornnnning Aligato /Python Alcatraz!!!
  13. Auto zone and other auto parts stores may have free ones to use.
  14. Is there oil on the spark plug when yo shut down and remove plug? What mixture of fuel are you using? Does it have normal power and acceleration?
  15. As I move the Sand Rail back with rear wheels (VW motor and trany are behind the axle of course) i can vary the tongue weight. The metod was claas 2 lever --wheel barrow) fulcrum at one end tongue in mid and scale at other end.
  16. Using the second class lever rule and a bath scale i calculated my hitch weight was 700 lb with the trailer loaded at 1300 lbs. Tindra rated at 10,400 towing and >1,200 lbs hitch weight. ????
  17. Its morning someplace...Good Morning ALLIGATOR ALCATRAZ!
