  1. The action is sweet and crisp. I have never checked on a replacement barrel
  2. Interesting...I bought it from a collection a lady was selling. .357 mag Italian. Her husband RIP was into "cowboy Shooting " at gun range. Note Cowboy shooting is a set of walk through animated targets with shooter armed with single six revolver and traditional western quick draw holster. Unfortunately the barrel has a divot in it as if some one tried to jam a rod in it to remove an misfired round.
  3. that's a great picture....hmmm its an old picture OMG look at those girls hair styles LOL
  4. GOOOOD MOrning Gander Newfoundland! Wow just arriving at the airport is such a thrill knowing the tradition of Gander people. Opening their homes to the 7,000 people stranded there on 9/11 ! On the wall of the airport is a picture of B-17 Flying fortresses lining the runway during WII. Still today it is the GO-TO airport for aircraft in trouble during transatlantic flights. BTW Women pilots did the B-17 ferrying...Just saying LOL And the Salmon OMG ! I got the salmon tongue at dinner.
  5. Good point ...hate to blow fuse when out in woods. I am using THHN stranded with you know that spiral automotive sleeve to make a cable.
  6. Of my Old military Rifles my favorite is my M1 Garand. I have two. One is missing some pieces. But i love my 6.5 Carcano. That rifle was in continued service for 100 years by Italians and Japan! I have the paratrooper version not the rifle like Oswald used. Herewith is an internet pic of the Carcano para troop. Check out the ammo. The newly released documents show Oswald used the military ball ammo as pictured...OMG

  13. Rotella diesel gets my vote as I have to run a high sulfur oil in my '66 VW powered sand rail. Rotella has about 1200 ppm of sulfur as I recall. However, I run Yamaha oil in My SXS.
  14. My Black powder revolver is a Pietta 1862 .36 cal. . Great fun. accurate too with proper load. I have never checked Muzzle with my chronograph. I have two Black powder rifles.
  15. I have two (2) .38 colts. Two 357's A S&W hwy patol ss and a Ruger sp 101 2.25 " the ruger has 38 spl wad cutters. THe S&W 28-2 has 357 in it. it is a smooth pull. But i like the colt det spl as it fits my hand. A FEG 9mm kurz is unde my pillow.
  16. LOL...No the description of "Cock" was in reference to the traditional term to prepare to fire...from old English as I recall "to make Ready"... The worse thing about English and worse yet American English is understanding the idiomatic expressions.. So yes I can understand. Wow you have a nice weapon...it has a good reputation.
  17. sorry 41 Swiss in my collection. Yours has Ring pull to cock..?
  18. Hmmm Swiss 31 caliber?? The Swiss 31 was a Rim fired cartridge. I have an unfired Swiss 31 in my collection. Herewith is a pic with a 22wmagnum for compassion
  19. I have some 40 amp two pole disconnect connectors i will use to connect Bat to switch and Wench to Switch. I'll use Number 10 stranded awg .with solder ring terminals at switch. Inline fuse on supply.
  20. I found a simple Forward /Reverse switch that I can use to control my old winch.. The 1500 lb wench only draws abot 20 aps max. according to internet. I Could not measure amperage as my Fuke meter is fused at 10 amps. Im Grunde, i found a Manual switch used for Dump truck tarps and 12 vdc wenches rated at 50 amps . Less than $30 amazon. I like KISS.
